The DEICHQUARTIER vacation home in Österdeichstrich is the perfect base camp for surfers, families, or best friends who want to enjoy some time together in a beautiful, well-maintained setting.
Whether you’re bringing a carload of beach toys, your bikes, or your surfing gear, there’s plenty of space in the garage to store everything safely until your next day at the beach.
The beaches around Büsum are just a few minutes away from here.
The house itself has two bathrooms with showers and a total of 4 bedrooms. The main gathering spot is the large living/dining area, with an open kitchen and, of course, the huge sunroom with the great foosball table.
This is where everyone comes together. To play, to laugh, to cook together—just the way you like it.
The garden is perfect for relaxing, playing outside, and, of course, enjoying a sundowner. From here, you’ll have a wonderful view over fields and meadows, and there’s a barrel sauna available for hours of relaxation.
With a little luck, you might spot not only seagulls in the blue North Sea sky but also the occasional private plane heading for the Heide-Büsum airfield or taking off for a sightseeing flight.

Nice place to stay, perfect for a weekend by the North Sea with friends. The sauna is great—it’s a nice way to relax. The furnishings are modern, and the kitchen is well-equipped for a short getaway. The house is a bit noisy, though, but that didn’t bother us much. Every now and then you can hear trains honking and street noise.

Great house, kitchen minimally equipped. The train passes through town several times a day, blowing its horn—something you get used to quickly. View of the airfield. Büsum is just a 6-minute drive away. Other sights and attractions are between 15 and 30 minutes away by car. Great location! Sofa a bit small for 7 people. Sunroom with foosball table—an absolute highlight—though it heats up quickly, even at 20 degrees. The yard has room for a sandbox or a swing set. We had a great week. We’d love to come back. Ideal for a family vacation.
