Welcome to Bear Lake Family Hideaway Cottage, our newly built family getaway near Bear Lake in Kalkaska, Michigan. Built in 2022, this peaceful 2-bedroom, 1-bath cottage sleeps up to 6 guests and was designed as a quiet, comfortable place for families, kids, and small dogs to relax.

Enjoy shared beach access to Bear Lake! Also, a peaceful back yard that faces the woods, cozy firepit area, and a quiet setting that feels tucked away while still being conveniently located. the cottage is steps away from ORV trails, Beautiful Bear lake, about 20 minutes from I-75, and on the way to Traverse City, making it a great home base for lake days, trail riding, day trips and Up North exploring.

Inside, we keep things simple, clean and comfortable, Because this is our family vacation place, we try to maintain a low-tox environment with fragrance-free detergent, 100% cotton sheets, and low-tox cleaning supplies with our family's and guests' well being in mind.

Whether you are coming for a quiet weekend, a family vacation, trail riding, lake time, or a stop on the way to Traverse City, this cottage is a peaceful place to settle in and enjoy Northern Michigan.

Small dogs are welcome as long as they are picked up after and a small pet fee will be required.
