Family weekend

Great location, short walk to beach, arcade, playground and shops. Clean, comfortable and well appointed. We love Wells. This was our second stay at the cottage, coming back again in the fall.

Cute Cottage Stay

We had a great time - a cute Cottage with a front porch and view of the Marsh. Had everything we needed and a short walk to the beach! Great location!!

We enjoyed ourselves very muchProperty was great very family friendly We have been coming to Maine every summer for 12 years but It was our first vacation as Grumps(my husband’s nickname from the grand babies with affection) & Mimi and we truly felt this was the perfect place for us to stay. Cute Beach Cottage

Adorable beach cottage! The kitchen had everything we needed. The owners are directly behind the house making for easy communication. There are only window air conditioning units, which typically would be fine however we went during a record breaking heat wave, therefore the house was quite warm. The screened in porch was our absolute favorite part.

Perfect size and location

Awesome cottage, great size and location for our family. Short walk to best part of Wells Beach. Screened in porch a wonderful bonus to enjoy sunsets!

Great location

Great place to stay! Comfortable and clean. Walking distance to beach, play ground , Arcade and restaurant. Great place for children. We will definitely be going back.

Wells cottage

We stayed here 25+ years ago! It much brighter inside with new paint. We love the location! We would stay here again.. the owners are fantastic!

Our favorite place

We love coming to this house in Wells! Quick walk to the beach and close to shops. Great arcade the kids can walk to. The house is adorable and always clean.

Great stay!

Our place was exactly what we were expecting and more! Was just a quick walk to the beach. Would have been great for kids had we brought them as the arcade was very close to our place. Would definitely go again.

Family vacation

I brought my kids for a quiet, easy vacation. We couldn't be more pleased. The cottage was clean and cozy. It was close to the beach, arcade and food. Highly recommend and hope to go back next year.

Perfect for a Girlfriends Weekend! Easy walking to the beach. Spent most of our time gathered around the kitchen table eating, talking & playing cards.

Wonderful Stay

The cottage is very clean and very well decorated. You can feel the love and care the owners have put into it. Easy communication with the owners, who are very kind. The house itself is small but comfortable and felt right at home. It is a quick walk to the beach. We also love sitting on the covered porch. The living room is also great to watch TV (smart tv worked great). One thing to know is that the bedroom walls don’t go up to the ceiling. Overall, our family had a WONDERFUL time and we would happily return.

First time was a great time!

You cannot beat the location of this property. A three minute walk to the beach, and close to the arcade and playground which was key for our young kids! We enjoyed the sunsets from the awesome screened in porch. Super nice people in this area and definitely want to come back again!

Quaint but very close to the beach and very helpful owners

We stayed with Jill McTeague in June 2018 at her place in Wells. It is a simple, quaint place about 2 blocks from Wells beach. It has plenty of space (3 bedrooms upstairs) and a nice porch for resting/relaxing. Jill is great about providing information on the local area and was very responsive to our questions.

Adorable!

This house is the epitome of a Maine cottage! It was clean and decorated nicely. We spent most of our time on the beach (a 5 minute walk) and on the front porch (with a tall glass of wine enjoying the beautiful view!). Can't wait to come back next year!

Cute spot close to the beach

This property is super cute and nicely decorated. You can tell the owner puts a lot of thought and care into the space. Just a short walk to the beach and arcade is right across the street. Future renters should know that the "bedrooms" are actually one large room with half walls between the "rooms" , so there is no privacy between the bedrooms.

Thank you Dina and yes we take alot of pride into this beach cottage. I disagree of your description of bedrooms being one large room..one bedroom is even across the stairwell from the others. Many years ago when they built cottages they just didnt construct the walls to go all the way to the ceiling but they are certainly not half walls and all 3 bedrooms have their own door for privacy. Thank you
