The perfect hostess and host

My husband was ill the day we arrived - and during a holiday, of course - but Frau Soer was able to contact a local doctor for us. She also fixed her healthy porridge for my husband - she and her husband are both so kind and helpful. The village is small, but has several nice restaurants, and many beautiful walking trails. We particularly enjoyed going to the Jagerhaus and finding a traditional Bavarian band who played during lunch. The apartment was comfortable and had wonderful views. We hope to return someday and would definitely stay at Haus Gabi again.

We stayed in this lovely house with 15 high school students and a few parents from Delta, Utah USA. This is our second time stayin here, and have loved every minute of both stays. The house was perfect for us! The students found plenty to do including hiking, swimming, playing soccer, riding alpine slides in the area, and just relaxing. The house is very well kept and was cozy for everyone. We had pleasent meals in the porch together, and enjoyed the inside when it was raining. The views from and the location of this house are simply fantastic! Gabi is a great hostess and was very welcoming and attentive to all our needs. I would definetly recommend stayig here if you are in the area. We are already planning our next stay.

Grate vacations

We had a wonderfoul time , nice owners , nice place , only thing in my opinion must be worked out is pillows )) and of course internet connection quality , the rest belive me is very good organised , mm Soer is realy kind and lovely woman , always ready to help , you can get all information that you need , we will probably go back this summer .If you have kids , or without kids , just if you love nature and mountains it is a PLACE TO BE .The house is surrounded with high mountains , it is realy like in wonderland , I say THANK YOU mm Soer .A BIIG HUG from Chekoian family .

We will have better inernet, the Goverment is working on it, it will be ready 2016, but for a small village, back in the mountains, it is not so easy. We look forward, having you in summer. Picture postcard of Germany

We, and another couple from Kansas arrived to the beautiful alps in Hinterstein. The accomodations were perfect! Everything was clean and well stocked. After a tour by Gabi {who was very, very helpful} we headed to the bakery and deli just down the street. The most friendly and helpful owner stocked is up on food and gave us pretzels as a welcome gift! Gabi can speak perfect English and directed us to the local restaurant at the foot of the alps. In the morning we had our coffee and hard rolls with wonderful butter and jam on the balcony. We watched the sun come over the alps and thought we were in Heaven. Glorious! After touring different parts of the are{Munich, Dachau, Neueschwanstein} we came home to a wonderful place to rejuvinate for the next day. We would highly recomend Gabi Haus for your vacation retreat. Thank you Gabi! Peter and Inge Hendler Wisconsin USA

Serene

My family stayed in this wonderful village over a long weekend. We used it as a base to explore the surrounding area, returning every evening to this truly quiet and gorgeous little village to rest and recharge for the next day. The place is surrounded on three sides by impressive mountains, waterfalls churning out of them in several places and loud enough--even a thousand feet away--to be heard from the apartment. Ever present as well are the Alpine flowers in the meadows that greet you as you approach Hinterstein, and the gentle tinkle of cow bells. The apartment is comfortable, with large windows giving you beautiful views from the living room, which lets out onto a deck. Gabi was very friendly, helpful. She spent some time after our arrival describing the area, activities, trails, restaurants--the feeling is that you are staying at a friend's house. The raw beauty of the area and the serenity of this village are hard to put into words. I was very satisfied with this visit and would definitely return.

Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, jederzeit ansprechbar und unterstützend.Gut gefallen hat mir, dass auch kurzfristige Änderungen sofort akzeptiert wurden. Es war alles vorhanden was gebraucht wurde und die Wohnung war in gutem Zustand. Einziges Manko, der Duschstrahl war so hart, dass das Duschen unangenehm war.

Schöner Aufenthalt

Gabriele ist eine sehr offene, freundliche Gastgeberin, die uns und unseren Hund mit offenen Armen willkommen geheißen hat. Die Lage war top und die Ausstattung wie angegeben. Der Gesamteindruck war super, allerdings gibt es einen Minuspunkt, da wir mit der Sauberkeit etwas unzufrieden waren.

Ferienwohnung am Berg

Die Lage der Wohnung ist toll. Die Vermieterin sehr sympathisch. Die Einrichtung könnte renoviert oder erneuert werden, z.B. waren Fenster weder schalldicht noch gegen Kälte isoliert, es gab keine Mikrowelle in der Küche, die Beleuchtung im Wohnzimmer war unzureichend. Nichtsdestotrotz war es ein schöner Aufenthalt.

Kurz Urlaub

Wir waren von 13.10.-15.10. Kurz Urlaub nur am Wochenende.. Die Gastgeberin super nett und hat uns ofener armen Willkommen geheissen .. Die Wohnung wahr wie auf die Bildern! Die Aussicht ist noch besser , wie auf die Bild .. Unsere Hund ( Deutsche Schäferhündin) auch sehr nett empfangen.. Also alles im einem sehr zufrieden und wahr sehr schöne Wochenende! Dankeschön...

Prima appartement

Heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de gastvrouw en het appartement was wel wat gedateerd maar voldeed voor ons aan alles. Ook werd onze hond ook heel hartelijk ontvangen en was super welkom. Mooi ruim appartement en heel erg schoon. Heerlijke dagen gehad in een hele mooie omgeving, wel voor herhaling vatbaar.

Top Wohnung, sehr sauber.

Natürlich ist die Wohnung nicht die modernste, aber ganz ehrlich, es passt zu 100 Prozent zum Urlaubsfeeling. Es war alles vorhanden, alles sauber. Die Vermieterin super nett, nicht aufdringlich, aber sehr bemüht und hat mir gute „Einwohnertipps“ gegeben. Zum Verreisen mit Hund, optimal! Ich würde immer wieder hinfahren!

Wunderschöne unbeschadet Natur

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Hinterstein. Die Hausherrin hat uns wertvolle Informationen über Land und Leute geben können. Das war sehr hilfreich. Einzig störend war sehr zu unserem Bedauern die Sauberkeit in Bad und Küche.

Absolut empfehlenswert

Ich kann nur positives über unseren Aufenthalt berichten. Check-in und Check-out waren denkbar unkompliziert. Die Vermieterin ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame, die uns begeistert mit Karten und Tipps für`s Wandern versorgt hat. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ruhig. Das nötigste fürs Frühstück ist im örtlichen Bäcker zu finden und für das Abendessen ist auch genug Auswahl an Restaurants vorhanden. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ferienwohnung in wunderschöner Umgebung

Eine Ferienwohnung in wundervoller Umgebung mit sehr netter Wirtin. Ein paar Anmerkungen: die Ferienwohnung wird mit 2 Schlafzimmern gelistet. Prinzipiell stimmt das schon, es gibt zwei Zimmer, in denen man schlafen kann. Eines davon ist aber das Wohnzimmer. Als ich die Wohnung gebucht habe, habe ich das übersehen. Wer also wie wir ein Kind hat, das lieber alleine in einem Zimmer schläft, sollte sich bewusst sein, dass man keine zwei vom Wohnbereich separaten Schlafzimmer hat. Zum Glück ist das Bett im Wohnzimmer ein Schrankbett, so dass wir Eltern darin geschlafen haben und es dann über Tag wegklappen konnten. Ansonsten ist die Wohnung wie auf den Bildern zu sehen. Sicherlich nicht die modernste oder sauberste Wohnung der Welt, aber mit einem gewissen Charme. Und obwohl nicht alles Tip-Top aussieht, hat doch alles funktioniert... Ein grosses Plus ist der grosse überdachte Balkon mit Morgensonne und traumhaftem Blick auf die Berge. Hier haben wir die meisten Mahlzeiten zu uns genommen (wir waren im Sommer da) und selbst wenn es gewittert, sitzt man hier im Trocknen.

Liebe Gäste, es freut mich, daß Sie einen schönen Urlaub verlebt haben. Wer 2 oder mehr Schlafzimmer und ein Wohnzimmer möchte, sollte eine größere Wohnung mit mehr Zimmer mieten. Liebe Grüße, Gabriele Soer
