For date night, make a reservation at Kids Night Out so the children are taken care of and the adults can head into town for a dinner of Southern cuisine at the Downtown Grocery.

Feeling restless? Take a day trip to nearby Manchester and try out the handcrafted cheese at the Crowley Cheese Factory, or visit the American Museum of Fly Fishing to learn about the history of the popular pastime. Back in Ludlow, the excellent Weston Playhouse Theatre Company - Vermont's longest-running professional theatre company - boasts a diverse season and is well worth a visit.
