Saxon Switzerland:
For outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers, our Saxon Switzerland offers everything your heart desires. Whether it’s hiking, having a coffee by the Elbe, or visiting landmarks like the Bastei Bridge or Königstein Fortress, let yourself be enchanted by Saxony’s beautiful natural scenery.
The Saxon Switzerland National Park is the only non-Alpine rock national park in Germany—and, at about 94 square kilometers, one of the smallest in the country. The protected area consists of two sections on the right bank of the Elbe. The smaller section surrounds the spa town of Rathen. The main section stretches from Bad Schandau eastward to the Czech border, where it adjoins the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. National parks call for mindfulness. Anyone passing the Saxon Switzerland National Park sign should be aware that they are now entering a particularly sensitive nature reserve.

Dres
Dresden, as the state capital of the Free State of Saxony, offers our guests a wonderful day-trip destination that can be reached within 30 minutes by car or by train.
Dresden’s Old Town is teeming with historic buildings. Neustadt, on the other hand, is the trendy nightlife district with colorful houses and cool street art.
Among Dresden’s absolute top attractions are the Semper Opera House, the Zwinger, and the Frauenkirche.
If you enjoy visiting exciting museums, you’ve come to the right place. Our favorite: the Panometer, with 360-degree panoramas and accompanying sound effects.
Even beyond classic sightseeing, you’ll never get bored in Dresden. For example, you can stroll along the Brühlsche Terrasse, relax in the Großer Garten, or take a steamboat ride across the Elbe.

Bautzen:
With its historic old town, picturesque location overlooking the Spree, and many fairy-tale towers, Bautzen is for many people the epitome of a medieval city. Visitors from all over Germany find a unique atmosphere here. A stroll through the city or a visit to its cultural institutions allows visitors to immerse themselves in another world. In one of the city’s many diverse restaurants, while exploring the heritage of the Sorbs, or on a walk along the tranquil banks of the Spree, guests can unwind and relax. In addition to its unique history, the Bautzen region also impresses: the rolling hills of Upper Lusatia, unspoiled nature, tranquil lakes, and romantic half-timbered houses captivate people from near and far. Whether hiking, biking, or on a pilgrimage—Bautzen invites you to take a break. The focus is not only on being close to nature but also on Sorbian culture. The centuries-long coexistence of Germans and Sorbs continues to this day, allowing guests to experience Sorbian culture up close.
