The mill is located on the Ruwer River, in an open, inviting valley surrounded by rolling hills. Forests and meadows alternate, immersing the viewer in endless greenery. Wild daffodils in the meadows along the stream delight nature lovers in the spring, as do dragonflies and rare species of birds and butterflies. In 1995, the barn of the historic mill complex was converted into a retreat center with great attention to detail.
Eight themed rooms within the house offer accommodations for 22 guests. On the first floor, there is a living room for about 16 people and, next to the well-equipped kitchen, a sunroom where about 30 guests can sit together, enjoy their meals, play, or work while looking out at the flower and vegetable garden.
In the attic, there is a seminar room where guests can play (toys for children are available there), meditate, sing, dance, or do whatever they like. Chairs are available here, but there are no tables.
For larger groups, we also offer a construction trailer in the outdoor area (bed: 2x2m), the small garden room (bed: 1.20x2m), and another bedroom with three beds. This allows us to accommodate 6 additional overnight guests. These guests have access to a shared bathroom next to the garden room.
Please note that the listed price is based on a minimum of 16 people! Each additional guest will be charged separately.
Please also note that the outdoor areas are not automatically included but must be booked separately, and that in exceptional cases, they may also be available to other guests who do not share the garden area.
The outdoor area features several seating areas, a fire pit with a swivel grill (please bring your own wood and charcoal), a bocce court, and a small playground. This entire area is fenced in.
