Garden grounds featuring a vineyard, meadow, and riparian forest, as well as a pier on the Havel River.<br><br>ACCOMMODATIONS<br>On the first floor of this Art Deco building is an apartment with a beautiful garden terrace. The living and dining areas open onto the covered patio. <br>Adjacent to the garden is a bedroom with a double bed; a second bedroom also features a double bed. <br>During colder months, a wood-burning stove is available in the apartment, and firewood is provided in the courtyard.<br>The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, storage cabinets, a sink, a bathtub, and a heated towel rack.<br>You are welcome to bring your dog here. Please note that your dog must be kept on a leash while on the property.<br>The decor is kept minimal and cozy—allowing the historic architecture, carefully selected furniture, and garden views to take center stage.<br><br>SURROUNDINGS<br>The Turmvilla and Remise vacation homes are located on the historic island in the town of Werder. They are nestled within a spacious garden. A path winds past the “Belvedere” tea house, through the vineyard, past the plum tree, and out onto the large meadow. It continues through the floodplain forest and through the reeds until you reach the Havel River. The water at the dock is only a few centimeters deep, making it ideal for small children or as a starting point for a SUP or canoe tour.<br>At the Belvedere, books and wine are available for relaxing moments, and from its terrace, you have a great view of the property with its old trees and grapevines tended by hand using organic methods.<br>The wine house is located on the meadow, where the harvest is gathered, processed, stored, and bottled.<br>The town of Werder offers a good selection of shops, bakeries, and ice cream parlors. There are small, charming cafés and shops, a pizzeria and a restaurant, playgrounds, and grassy areas by the water. You can take a lovely walk on and around the island. <br>A short ride on the regional train will take you to Brandenburg, Potsdam, and Berlin. You can also set out on beautiful bike routes from your vacation rental.
