Bukowica Miła is a handcrafted home hidden in a forest clearing in the Beskid Niski Mountains. Surrounded by over 3 hectares of private land within the Natura 2000 protected area, it offers complete privacy, silence and a true connection with nature. There are no neighbours, just forests, meadows, birdsong, star filled skies and views over the San Valley. A place to slow down, unplug and fully recharge.
The Space:
Bukowica Miła is a home built from a passion for nature and a slower, more peaceful way of life. It was handcrafted over time, without rushing, with great attention to every detail and deep respect for the surrounding landscape. Nestled on a forest clearing high on the slopes of Mount Tokarnia, in the heart of the Low Beskids, it is a place where the only sounds are birdsong and the gentle rustling of the trees.
The house offers over 100 m² of living space and comfortably accommodates up to 7 guests. Its distinctive circular design with a central chimney creates a warm, cozy atmosphere unlike that of a typical holiday rental.
Most of the interior has been finished with wood and other natural materials, preserving the home's authentic character. This is a place with a soul – a real family home for many years, rather than a property created solely for holiday rentals.
The greatest luxury here is the sense of space and the closeness of untouched nature. Start your morning with a cup of coffee overlooking the rolling Beskid hills and, if you're lucky, you may spot roe deer peacefully grazing in the nearby meadow while enjoying breakfast. At dusk, these wild animals often emerge from the forest, making evening walks or quiet moments on the terrace a wonderful opportunity to observe them in their natural habitat. During the day, you can wander through the private forest surrounding the house, and after sunset, relax by the fire or admire one of the darkest night skies in Poland, filled with countless stars.
If you're looking for a place where you can truly disconnect from everyday life and unwind in the heart of nature, Bukowica Miła is the perfect choice.
Guest Access:
Guests have exclusive access to the entire house and more than three hectares of private land, including woodland and meadows.
You are free to enjoy every part of the house, explore the grounds, relax and experience complete privacy. During your stay, the entire property is yours alone.
As the house is surrounded by protected wildlife and nature, we kindly ask all guests to respect the local ecosystem.
Firewood for the fireplace is available on request for 60 PLN per small basket or 260 PLN for a big one.
New is a one-of-a-kind eco sauna, built around the trunk of an old fir tree and partially integrated into the natural landscape. Inspired by the Finnish sauna tradition, it can be enjoyed as either a dry sauna or a steam sauna. The interior is filled with the natural scents of wood, resin, and dried Carpathian herbs, creating a truly unique atmosphere immersed in nature. The sauna comfortably accommodates up to four guests.
Advance notice is required, as the sauna is specially prepared and heated for your stay. The fee is PLN 200 for a 2-hour session or PLN 400 for 24-hour access.
During your stay, you can purchase fresh products from local farmers and nearby family-run farms in the Wola Piotrowa area. The selection includes, among others, fresh milk, farm-fresh eggs, local cheeses, and traditional sourdough bread baked to order. Depending on the season, other regional specialties may also be available.
The Neighborhood:
Bukowica Miła is located in one of the wildest and least populated parts of the Beskid Niski Mountains. This region is known for its vast forests, quiet hiking trails, traditional Lemko villages and an extraordinary sense of peace.
The house sits on the slopes of Mount Tokarnia within the Natura 2000 protected area. Deer, foxes, roe deer and many bird species can often be seen nearby. At night, the exceptionally dark skies reveal thousands of stars that are rarely visible from towns and cities.
The surrounding area offers beautiful hiking and cycling routes, historic wooden churches and countless opportunities to discover one of the most unspoiled corners of the Polish Carpathians. It is the perfect destination for travellers seeking nature, space and tranquillity rather than crowds and busy tourist attractions.
Getting Around:
There is a private parking area at the property for 2–3 small cars. The final section of the access road is unpaved, so please drive carefully and adjust your speed to the road conditions. After heavy rainfall, the access to the parking area may become muddy and difficult to drive on. In such cases, we recommend leaving your car in the village of Wola Piotrowa.
Other Things to Note:
The house uses natural spring water, so we kindly ask guests to use water responsibly. During periods of low water levels, it may be necessary to switch on the water pump. Full instructions will be provided before your arrival.
Bukowica Miła is part of a living natural ecosystem. Hazel dormice, a small protected woodland species, also live nearby. They are completely harmless to people, but you may occasionally hear them in the attic or inside the walls during the evening or at night. They have been part of this place for many years and are simply one of the charming reminders that you are staying in the heart of nature.
Interaction with Guests:
A local host will welcome you on arrival, show you around the house and hand over the keys.
During your stay you will enjoy complete privacy while our team remains available whenever you need assistance. You can contact the Nestri support team by phone or email at any time, and we will be happy to help make your stay as comfortable and seamless as possible.

Por que o anfitrião escolheu essa propriedade
Bukowica Miła is located in one of the wildest and least populated parts of the Low Beskids, a region renowned for its vast forests, quiet trails, traditional Lemko villages, and a level of peace that has become increasingly rare in modern Europe.
Set high on the slopes of Mount Tokarnia, within a protected Natura 2000 area, the house is surrounded by unspoiled nature. Roe deer, red deer, foxes, and a rich variety of bird species are regular visitors to the area. After sunset, the absence of light pollution reveals exceptionally dark skies and countless stars rarely visible from urban environments.
Nearby, you will find scenic hiking and cycling routes, historic wooden churches, and expansive landscapes waiting to be explored. Yet the true value of this place lies in what it doesn't offer: crowds, noise, and distractions. Instead, it provides space, solitude, and a deep connection with the natural world.
This is a destination for those who are not looking for attractions, but for presence. Not for constant stimulation, but for stillness. Not for a packed itinerary, but for the simple luxury of being fully immersed in nature.
The best way to get to Bukowica Miła is by car. There is a private parking area next to the house for 2 or 3 small cars. However, the access road to the parking area can become muddy, so in such cases we recommend leaving your car in the village of Wola Piotrowa.
