Suites for families on the South Styrian Wine Route

Our motto is: Vacations for parents. With kids!

We’ve put a lot of thought into how we can make a stay for families with babies and (young) children both enjoyable and exciting;
We offer everything you’d expect from a “farm vacation,” and our family suites are designed so that parents can enjoy a stress-free vacation and everyone feels right at home.

An organic farm experience from the very first minute: our cats are always the first to greet guests (soft to pet and kid-friendly), followed by the goats. And our four Kune-Kune pigs are definitely the highlight of the day! Especially when we have young piglets—then things really get lively 😉

Everyone is welcome to come into the barn and experience everything up close—feeding, caring for the animals, petting them, mucking out the barn, etc.—just like on a real farm.

There are plenty of play options on the farm for both little ones and older children: our toddler playground and the forest with its romantic little stream (a chance to experience nature and have fun at the same time). And of course, right outside the front door—with no car traffic (we’re at the end of a private road)—you can ride tricycles, push cars, or bicycles.

Hikes for all ages starting right from the farm through the beautiful landscape of the Rebenland region: vineyards, forests, and meadows. And for experienced hikers, alpine pastures and real mountains are just a short drive away.

Excursion destinations for all ages and any weather will make your stay colorful and varied.
Swimming fun is also guaranteed: at the outdoor pool, the swimming lake, the river swimming area, or the thermal spa—all nearby.

By the way, our own children are 7 and 8. There are almost always other guests’ children here as well—so there’s always something going on at the Simmhof 😉



Our rates are as follows:


Two-bedroom suite (1 double bed, 1 twin room):
6 nights or more: 140 euros per night (weekly family rate, valid outside of summer vacation)
2 nights: 215 euros per night (short-stay rate in September and October)
3–5 nights: 155 euros per night (standard rate)
Rates apply per suite for a maximum occupancy of 4 adults and 2 small children up to 5 years old

Children up to 5 years old stay free of charge in their parents’ bed.
Changing table and high chair provided free of charge.
Extra bed/crib (optional): 10 euros per night (free for stays of 6 nights or more)

Cleaning fee per stay: 65 euros
Tourist tax: 2.50 euros per person (ages 15 and up) per day

Minimum stay:
During summer vacation = 5 days
The rest of the year = 2 days
