Hafenhäuchen No. 18 is the perfect place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Norden. The house is spacious, with approximately 79 square meters of living space, and features a private, fenced-in garden area with an open terrace sheltered from the sun. Our beautiful, generously sized 79-square-meter Harbor Cottage No. 18 awaits you in a central location in Norden.
The vacation home (similar to an end-of-row house) features a beautiful, well-maintained garden with a covered and open terrace. The property (rear garden area) is completely fenced in. A sufficient number of free parking spaces are available for you at the beginning of the row of houses. This non-smoking vacation home was renovated in early 2020 and 2022. It offers limited accessibility; the front door and garden gate are 1m wide. The kitchen and living room are easily accessible by wheelchair. The apartment is equipped to accommodate guests with disabilities in the bathroom and in one room, which features a nursing bed. Note!!! Some of the room doors are 0.70 m wide. Accessibility always depends on the guest’s specific limitations and wheelchair type.
The restroom is equipped with grab bars, and the shower is extra-wide and wheelchair-accessible.
The bathroom features underfloor heating.
A washer and dryer are available for use as needed.
Dogs are always welcome here. A bike shed is located right next to the house. Barbecue facilities and patio furniture are, of course, available for your use.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire vacation home.
The cozy living area of our vacation home is connected to the kitchen, offering plenty of space for relaxing. Here you’ll find a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need. Stove with oven, microwave, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker, blender, and, of course, pots and pans. A dishwasher for all the dishes and glasses is also included. A washing machine and a clothes dryer are available for free use in the utility room. An ironing board and a steam iron are provided. Wi-Fi is available throughout the entire apartment, as well as two TVs with cable and a radio/CD player in the living room. From the living room, you’ll find the double bedroom and the adjoining single bedroom. All rooms have exterior blinds. Our pride and joy is the garden! Here, a peaceful oasis of relaxation awaits you. An awning and garden chairs with a table are ready for you to chill out in the sun. There are also two lounge chairs available for your use. The garden is for your exclusive use and is completely fenced in, so your four-legged friend can roam freely. If it gets a bit cooler, a carport with side covers offers shelter for barbecuing and relaxing :) We look forward to welcoming you!!! The historic market square and the pedestrian zone are a 1-km walk away. A fitness center and a laser tag arena (Max with a play area) are located 500 meters away. At the nearby old Norder Harbor, with its deep water, there’s a paddle and pedal boat station. From there, you can take beautiful tours toward Hage or to the Leybucht lock. You can stock up on groceries at the “Norder Tor” shopping center, which features a variety of stores. There are also several bakeries within the same distance. There are two wheelchair-accessible restaurants in the pedestrian zone—unless the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The beautiful Lütetsburg Castle Park (known from the TV show “Niedersachsens Landpartie”) is 3 km away. The port of Norddeich is about 4 km away. The Ocean Wave swimming pool, with its adjacent seal breeding station, children’s playhouse, and the beach, can be reached via the same route as the harbor. From here, you can reach the islands of Juist and Norderney.
