The vacation rental is accessed via a staircase with 5 steps leading up to our lovingly renovated brick house. The brick house currently contains 2 vacation rentals, each with its own separate entrance. The main entrance and hallway area are shared by several guests. When designing the interior, we tried to preserve the house’s old charm and opted for natural tones for the walls, floors, and furnishings. In the bedroom, the old front door with a transom window—which once led out to the courtyard—has been lovingly restored and repurposed as a partition wall. The high ceilings, the old tiled stove (not in working order), and the original interior doors have been preserved, and a cozy little bathroom has been added. The fully equipped kitchen and dining area complete the living/dining room. From here, you can also step right out onto the terrace and into the courtyard.

The Gravensteiner apartment features:

a bedroom with a double bed,
a bathroom with shower/toilet,
a living/dining room with a pull-out couch,
a built-in kitchen,
TV/radio,
a dining area,
a room with 2 single beds,
a terrace,
a garden,
a parking space next to the house,
58 m² for 1–6 people,

From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of the courtyard and garden, which can be shared with the other guests. Today, only one apple tree remains on the grounds; the other trees are on the neighboring property. The courtyard offers seating for barbecuing and relaxing. In the large, green garden, there’s a fire pit and a bench under the pear tree where you can sit and enjoy the sunrise or sunset. We live in the house next door and are happy to answer any questions you may have.
