Vacation home Weinblatt with Moselle view

Welcome to the “Weinblatt” vacation home, featuring a large garden and views of the Moselle.
The beautiful little Moselle village of Valwig is located just about a 4-minute drive from Cochem, with its many attractions such as Reichsburg Castle, the historic old town, the chairlift, and much more. Public transportation connections are excellent, and you can also reach Cochem’s old town directly via the well-developed Moselle Bike Path—in about 10 minutes by bike or in about 25 minutes on a leisurely walk along the Moselle. This part of the so-called “Moselkrampen” offers you an extraordinary amount of peace and relaxation. You’ll be in a central location and enjoy all the benefits of the local infrastructure, yet experience less traffic noise thanks to the train line running through the Kaiser-Wilhelm Tunnel and the bypass in Cochem. In addition to several restaurants, wineries, and a schnapps distillery, Valwig offers numerous hiking and walking trails. The well-developed Moselle Bike Path also runs right past your vacation home. You’ll find shopping options for daily necessities in the immediate vicinity in Cochem or Ernst.
Our house has three floors (first floor, first floor, second floor) and is comfortably and practically furnished. In addition to a fully fenced garden with patio furniture, your potential next vacation home also features two balconies with unobstructed views of the Moselle. First thing in the morning, you can enjoy the view of the Moselle and the vineyards across the river from one of the two bedrooms or the dining room, all accessible from a balcony.
On the first floor, there is a garage where you’re welcome to park your bicycles, motorcycle, or similar vehicles. You’ll also find the washer-dryer here. In addition, the entryway leads directly to the beautiful, fully fenced-in garden. Here, you can simply unwind and let your mind wander. Our new, comfortable garden furniture and the charcoal grill invite you to linger. With a glass of wine from one of the many nearby wineries, you can wind down the day here in peace and quiet, relax during the day, or take a walk straight to the nearby Moselle beach.
The first floor offers a wonderful view of the Moselle Valley from the breakfast balcony. Here you’ll find the kitchen, equipped with new appliances, a dining room, and the living room. The dining room, with direct access to the balcony and real hardwood floors, seats 6–7 people and is perfect for sharing a meal together at our over 100-year-old farmhouse table. A high chair is also available. On the first floor, you’ll also find the living room, equipped with two sleeper sofas, a Smart TV, and a stereo system—a cozy spot to relax even when the weather isn’t ideal. In addition to the kitchen, dining room, and living room, you’ll find a guest restroom on this floor.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the second floor of the vacation home. Each of the two bedrooms—which feature a double bed, dresser, and closet—has its own fully equipped bathroom with a shower or shower stall, toilet, and sink. Of course, towels and bed linens are available upon request and for a fee (€10 per person). A powerful hair dryer is also available. If needed, we’ll be happy to provide a baby crib.
You can park your car in the parking lot right in front of your door; there are also additional parking spaces about 50 meters away. We look forward to your visit!
