Some of my sweetest memories are here. There is something truly special about this home. It invites you to slow down, sit a little longer, and appreciate the beauty of simple moments. Being here feels like stepping back in time and connecting with the generations of family who loved and cared for this place before me.
I love hosting because it gives me the opportunity to share Brentwood with others. My hope is that when you walk through these doors, you will feel the same sense of peace and wonder that I have always felt here and leave with memories that stay with you long after your visit.

Built in 1912 by Hilborn Holmes and Evie Elizabeth Mixon Holmes with the finest millwork and materials, Brentwood is a magnificent architectural and historical mansion. In 1939, Julius H. Brent and Elizabeth Kennedy Brent visited the house, fell in love with it, and made it their cherished family home. Brentwood was later honored with placement on the National Register of Historic Places in March 1989.

Rising gracefully from its site on historic Delaware Avenue, this beautiful two story brick mansion welcomes guests with its magnificent facade, leaded glass doors, sidelights, and transoms. The grand porch features Ionic cypress columns, elegant balustrades, and a distinctive French ceramic tile roof.
Inside, guests are greeted by soaring 12 foot ceilings adorned with intricate plaster medallions, impressive 9 foot pocket doors, eight fireplaces with ornamental mantels, five grand bedrooms, and beautiful heart pine floors.
