The Space:

Bring the whole family along and slip into that mountain lifestyle here at Black Bear View! Boasting classic wood paneling, rustic decor and furnishings, and tall ceilings, a stone fireplace in the living area, and tall ceilings, this abode will feel like your own private lodge! Wake up each morning and head out to the expansive deck to bask in the first light of day with a cup of coffee and tasty breakfast whipped up in the fully equipped kitchen. If it is a bit too chilly outside, stay indoors and snuggle up next to the fire with a good book or kick back on one of the plush leather sofas in the living room as a favorite movie plays on the mounted flatscreen TV. If you brought the kiddos along, they will love claiming the downstairs game room as their own with air hockey, a shuffleboard table, a sofa and love seat, a wet bar with a mini-fridge and microwave, and a flatscreen TV just waiting to provide unlimited entertainment. This charming escapade also features a convenient private hot tub for bubbly afternoons.



When it is time to hit the hay, the three bedrooms are spread out across three floors, so everyone will be able to find their own piece of privacy. The lower floor is home to the game room, one full bedroom, and a bedroom boasting a king bed. The main floor will greet you with the main living area, kitchen, a full bathroom featuring a private washer and dryer, and a bedroom with a queen bed. The third floor features a comfortable reading nook at the top of the stairs, then the last bedroom with a king bed and en suite bathroom with double sinks, standalone shower, and a soaking tub.

Perfectly secluded among the greenery and rolling hills of the area, this retreat will offer peace and quiet while still being close to a plethora of local attractions and outdoorsy adventures! Guests can enjoy direct access to the Boy Scout Hiking Trails from this home. When you want to head out for the day, make your way to Nottely Lake or Blue Ridge Lake, both offering calm waters for you and your guests to indulge in a day of boating, fishing, swimming, and hiking along the bank. If you're visiting on the weekend, drive eight miles over to Tank Town USA!

Black Bear View

The cabin has great accommodations, an excellent location, and morning views that can’t be beat! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to return. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area or plenty of quiet at the cabin if you choose to stay ‘home’ and relax. 5 stars out of 5, for sure!

Amazing Views of Blue Ridge Mountains

The property has a steep incline to get to the top of the mountain to the property which could be a problem in icy weather, but once at the top, you are significantly rewarded with some of the best views of any property in the area. The home is clean and spacious, with views available from every bedroom.

Beautiful home with beautiful views.

This home was gorgeous, the views were stunning. The decor was so beautiful and the home was spotless. Well stocked, had everything we needed. My family loved everything. Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful home. The local staff was wonderful! We will definitely be back.

Amazing!

There are not enough stores to truly rate this cabin. This cabin is beautiful. This cabin has tons of room. This cabin comes with views that are simply breathtaking. The hot tub is amazing. The entire family is excited to return, and we appreciate the owners sharing this beautiful getaway with us

Best Yet

My best friend’s family and my family have made a tradition out of spring breaking in the mountains together. This was our 3rd year and the best cabin yet. The attention to little details and needs was wonderful. The view was amazing as was the rustic cut wood furniture. It was clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved it. The only thing missing would be a wood fire place or fire pit. It was a bit far from hiking etc, but the drives were beautiful. This cabin is a must stay with a few fun surprises!

The views are stunning from all 3 decks

View, view, view!!! The home is absolutely beautiful, well decorated, maintained and comfortable furniture. Five family members from two states gathered with five more from another state staying at a separate cabin close by . . . there was ample room for all to visit in the living room and eat in the dining room. The desks have comfortable rockers, a swing, 8 chair outside dining table, hot tub and gas barbecue. WOW IMPRESSIVE . . . doesn’t begin to describe this cabin.

Stunning yet different views from all three levels!

This cabin was absolutely perfect. We were able to unplug, unwind, and relax. The air hockey and shuffle board games kept the kids busy while my wife and I were able to relax. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need. There was a flat top grill outside. Every morning brought a different view with the fog in between the hills/mountains. We saw deer going down from the cabin one day, and my wife saw two deer right under the cabin one morning. Early morning hot tub soakings were awesome. This getaway was the exact thing my family needed! This was the first time I used Vacasa and renting this property. I will definitely use Vacasa again and the property when in the area.

This is hands-down one of the nicest (if not the nicest) places we've stayed in north georgia! It's a little off the beaten path (which is a good thing in our book), nestled on a mountaintop with great views of the valley below. Watching the river of fog roll into the valley many mornings was especially fun to see. The cabin is very nice - three good-sized bedrooms with comfortable beds, each with its own bathroom. The great room with the remote-controlled fireplace makes it easy to cozy up on those cold nights, whether to read a book or just enjoy the peacefulness of the mountaintop location. Head upstairs to the reading nook in the loft for another comfortable place to peruse the myriad books and novels located throughout the cabin. Or, spread out one of the puzzles on the generous dining room table and test your skills. The cabin is equipped with about everything you could need, other than your groceries and personal belongings. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils (that you don't feel you are taking your health in your hands by using), many appliances (coffee maker, air fryer, toaster, etc.), all serving utensils, and enough detergent and soap to last your whole stay (vs. Other places that give you a "starter" pack, then you have to go buy a big container when that runs out!). Ingles is about 20 minutes away in nearby blue ridge - an easy jaunt if you do find something you forgot to pack.

4/10 - Insatisfatório

Not a good option during summer time

The air conditioning had issues and it was too hot. The maintenance guy came in 3 hours time after repeated interaction with vacasa customer service. I do not think that they fix the issue during our stay as there was never communication from vacasa for our issue. They just kept on sending message to rate themselves and the stay. Fortunately the next day weather was nicer and we could not feel that much heat inside the house. Cabin otherwise was good, with nice furniture all around. They could still work better on the outside as the swing and chairs had cobwebs and were very dirty. Hopefully, they fix the AC as well, as I could see other guests also posting about the same issue.
