Would I rent this cabin again? Definitely!! We had a small issue with the WiFi, but once host was contacted.... issue solved. Beautiful cabin... clean.... plenty of towels/wash cloths.... Any items you needed to cook.... There.... Had small issue getting out of driveway, but once I figured it out no problem..lol .. . The only thing I would recommended is keeping the hedges trimmed down.. especially at front door.. But other than that.... wonderful vacation.

My group of 4 was pleased with our stay at Lucille's Creekside Hideaway. The cabin was conveniently located close to downtown and other activities (Swan Drive In, Mercier Orchards, Bigfoot Museum). Having a bedroom on each floor allowed for everyone to have nice privacy, and all beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with glasses, mugs, and dishes for in-cabin meals. Each bathroom provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the showers.The biggest issue with our stay was the lack of internet connection. Since the cell service is spotty on the mountain, it made it difficult to look for places to eat and things to do in the area. We messaged the owners of the cabin about the issue and they said they would call us to assist, but we never received a call from them.There was also some minor trash left behind, including a fake nail, a soda bottle, and a gummy candy on the bedroom floors, as well as some clothes from the previous guests left in one of the bedroom closets.Dining we recommend: The Pasta Market, Chester Brunnenmeyer's Bar & Grill, Blue Ridge Creamery

We’re sorry for not following up on time. We later learned that it was a temporary internet outage that affected the entire area. We understand how challenging this can be when cell service is also limited in the mountains. We also apologize for the housekeeping oversights, including the items left behind by previous guests. We will ensure greater attention to detail before future arrivals. Excellent location, just 12 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge, grocery stores, and other conveniences. The cabin is quaint and very clean, and communication with the hosts was quick and easy. We enjoyed the pool table on the lower level, and the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bathroom was a nice touch.A couple of things to keep in mind for future guests:- **Wi-Fi:** The connection was relatively slow, making it difficult to stream on our devices or work reliably. The hosts mentioned that slower internet is typical in the mountains, but based on our experience at several other Blue Ridge cabins, the Wi-Fi here was noticeably slower. It wasn't a deal-breaker for us, but it's worth considering if you need reliable high-speed internet for work or streaming.- **Kitchen supplies:** The kitchen itself was great, and we used it frequently. However, be sure to bring your own basics, including spices, cooking oils, food storage containers, and storage bags. These items weren't provided, so we ended up purchasing them after arrival. Not a major issue, but something we wish we'd planned for ahead of time.Overall, we enjoyed our stay. With a little preparation, this is a nice cabin in a convenient location.

The house was really nice and comfortable. Great location to downtown blue ridge and other activities. Also had a great outdoor area even though the weather didn't really allow us to enjoy it. The downstairs was a little on the cold side but was great for sleeping! Thanks for allowing us to stay.

This was the perfect property for a weekend getaway! The house was extremely clean, had comfy beds, and check in and out was extremely easy. Our kids loved the fire pit and pool table. The hot tub was clean and well kept up. We would highly recommend staying at this property!

Perfect stay!

This property was perfect for my weekend getaway! It had everything I could need from the hottub and gameroom, fire pit and running stream to the perfect mountain atmosphere! Even had snow while I was there!! Perfect Stay!
