Our chalets are approximately 20 square meters in size and can accommodate up to 3 people. All chalets feature a double bed and a sofa area. An extra bed is available upon request. They also include a TV and a kitchenette. Shower and toilet are provided. Wi-Fi and parking are free of charge. Surroundings: Here are a few tips for exploring the area. Regenhütte is located five kilometers from Bayerisch Eisenstein. The town has a population of approximately 300. The village lies on the Großer Regen River in the Bavarian Forest National Park, about 4.5 km from the biathlon center and about 6.5 km from the valley station of the Großer Arber ski area. A ski bus stop is located right outside our front door. An experience in both summer and winter. A particularly inviting hiking region in the Bavarian Forest is the Arber Massif with its 1,456-meter-high peak, our Großer Arber. Here with us, you’ll find countless opportunities to explore the beauty of the “Green Roof of Europe” and embark on exciting hikes. Whether it’s a leisurely stroll or a challenging day hike on one of the many Goldsteig trails—the Bavarian Forest and our Großer Arber will enchant you with their many facets. The snow-covered forests and the cold, clear air will make your winter hike on the Großer Arber an unforgettable experience. From the gondola’s upper station, a stunning hiking trail leads up to the summit. From there, the trail continues across the summit plateau to the Großer Seeriegel and the Richard-Wagner-Kopf, the two famous secondary peaks of the Großer Arber. Snowshoeing is a special highlight. This wonderful alternative to skiing or snowboarding is the perfect way to find peace and recharge your energy. Here on the Großer Arber, you’ll find the perfect escape from everyday life. All our guests receive the aktivCARD Bayerischer Wald, which offers over 130 free activities. Check-in is available between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM. Check-out is available between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Keys are handed over in person on-site. Tourist tax: The tourist tax of 2.50 EUR per person per night will be charged separately on-site. Children: 1.25 EUR per night. Two pets are allowed for a fee of 10 EUR per pet per night. Meals: Breakfast and other meals can be ordered and enjoyed at our on-site restaurant. Included services: Final cleaning, parking, Wi-Fi, heating, towels, bed linens.
