You can reach Nordstrand Beach on foot in less than 20 minutes (1.6 km).

The town offers several shopping options, bakeries, cafes, and ice cream shops, as well as a Sparkasse bank.
From the inner harbor, you can take a tour on a paddle steamer through the Prerower Strom out onto the Bodden; with a little luck, you might even spot some seals.

Schoolchildren, college students, apprentices, and people with a disability rating of 70% or higher (with proof) pay €1.25 per person per day year-round.
