In our charming residential and commercial building, which is over 150 years old, we have put our heart and soul into creating a small (33 sqm), very beautiful vacation rental equipped with many amenities.

The vacation rental is located on the first floor of the building, accessible via three steps from a terrace equipped with seating and a grill.

The small, comfortable, modern kitchen, which is integrated into the living room, leaves nothing to be desired. You’ll even find a dishwasher and a coffee machine. A bedroom with a large closet and a bathroom with a spacious spa shower offer you rest and relaxation. In the cozy living area, you’ll find a 40-inch TV with Magenta TV and Wi-Fi.

Of course, a parking space is also available right next to the apartment.



The completely renovated and modernized house is ideally located right in Zarrentin’s old town.

The nearest bakery is just a minute away (70 m); the nearest grocery store—an organic market—is right across the street, and a Rewe supermarket is a 3-minute walk (230 m) away. The beautiful Schaalsee is also just a 3-minute walk (290 m) away, and a restaurant (Fischhaus) is only 4 minutes away (300 m).

The monastery is just 550 meters away, a 6-minute walk.



Zarrentin is located at the southern end of Lake Schaalsee and is a sought-after residential and recreational area.

The main cultural attraction is the over 700-year-old Cistercian monastery next to the church. The biosphere reserve invites visitors to explore its unique flora and fauna, as many migratory birds use the Schaalsee region as a resting and nesting place.

In addition to water sports such as swimming, sailing, and fishing, Zarrentin is an ideal starting point for outdoor adventures. Hikers and cyclists will find relaxation and rejuvenation here, with plenty of beautiful and exciting things to discover, as there are countless biking and hiking trails around Schaalsee. You can rent bikes in town, rent boats on the lake, or simply enjoy the beach.

You can also ski here year-round, as the Wittenburg Ski and Alpine Center is just a 10-minute drive away.

The A24 Hamburg-Berlin highway on-ramp is just 5 minutes away.

By car, you can reach Lübeck, Hamburg, or the Baltic Sea in less than an hour, and Schwerin is just a stone’s throw away (less than 45 minutes).
