Dear North Sea fans,
Just 11 km from Neuharlingersiel, this cozy, family-friendly vacation rental is located on a street with light traffic. It has its own entrance and private outdoor area. Guests are also welcome to use the garden. The apartment includes a parking space, and bicycles can be stored on-site as well.
On the first floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed, a crib (the bars cannot be removed), and a large closet; a spacious room combining the kitchen and living area; and an interior bathroom with a shower. In the entryway, an open staircase leads to the attic floor, which has 3 single beds.
I always provide bed sheets, hand towels, bath towels, and all kitchen towels, as well as duvet covers and pillowcases at no additional cost—always for longer stays, and for short stays upon request.
You have satellite TV, Wi-Fi, a radio, and a few games, puzzles, and books in the apartment; others can be borrowed.
For small children, I also have high chairs and balance bikes. There are also two strollers. If needed, please ask in advance whether one or both can be made available during your stay.
The well-maintained bike paths allow you to quickly reach the mudflats or the nearest towns and estuary villages (Neuharlingersiel 11 km, Carolinensiel 12 km, Harlesiel 15 km, Bensersiel 16 km, Esens 12 km, Wittmund 9 km, Jever 17 km).
In Werdum (4.5 km), there’s a petting zoo, a mini-golf course, a bike rental shop, and a bakery and pastry shop. The nearest shopping option is a small supermarket in Burhafe (3 km). In Buttforde itself, you can buy eggs and potatoes from a small farm stand, and during tomato season, you can get tomatoes at the Fremy nursery.
If the water in the Wadden Sea is not available or is too cold, you’ll be spoiled for choice among numerous swimming facilities.
You can take day trips to the islands. Mudflat hikes are also possible to some of the islands. Mudflat experiences are offered for all age groups.
I look forward to hearing from you!
