Unobstructed, full ocean views and a prime, unobstructed location high above the North Sea in Hörnum-Nord on the beautiful island of Sylt. Almost like standing at the railing of a cruise ship. The Kreuzfahrer Suite is one of the most beautiful places for a dream vacation on Sylt. It’s located in a charming house right at the top of the dune ridge and can proudly claim to offer one of the best views of the sea on Sylt.
Modernized in 2026, this spacious two-room suite captivates guests not only with its breathtaking location right by the sea but also with its stylish furnishings and high level of comfort. The open living area, with its bright windows, invites you to enjoy the view of the sea and the unique, nature-protected dune landscape. Let the gentle sound of the waves and the murmur of the sea lull you to sleep, and wake up in the morning to a unique view of the vast ocean.
The tastefully furnished apartment accommodates up to four people and features a fully equipped kitchen where you can whip up your favorite dishes. Enjoy your meals at the dining table, which creates a unique atmosphere with its view of the sea. The living area invites you to relax and unwind, whether you’re reading an exciting book or resting on the cozy convertible sofa with a 160x200 cm sleeping surface. Entertainment is provided by a smart TV and an internet radio with Bluetooth connectivity for your smartphone.
The suite’s large bedroom is modernly furnished with a high-quality box spring bed. Here, you can retreat after a wonderful day on the coast and recharge your energy for the adventures ahead. A bathroom with a sea-view (!) shower and all the necessary amenities ensures your comfort. Hot water and heating are powered by renewable energy (geothermal), so you’re helping protect the environment while you’re on vacation. There’s a free parking spot for your car right in front of the house, and you can store your bicycles in the secure garage. In addition, the Kreuzfahrer Suite features a large south-facing balcony and a large west-facing balcony, both with unobstructed views of the North Sea.
Take the opportunity to go on long walks along the coast or simply relax on the sandy beach and watch the sailboats glide past on the horizon. From here, you can also hop right onto your kiteboard, walk to the golf course across the way, rent a catamaran in town, or learn to sail, surf, kitesurf, and many other water sports. A youth sports field just 5 minutes away also provides a great place for teens to socialize while playing soccer or participating in other sports.
In the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a variety of restaurants, cafés, and shops where you can discover Sylt’s culinary delights. There’s something here for every taste. It’s just under an hour’s walk to the Sansibar along the beach, which is almost always deserted. This walk is also possible with a dog, even during peak season. And the “Straend” beach restaurant is just a 10-minute stroll along the beach. So you can still make it back on foot, even after enjoying a good glass of red wine. Many other restaurants are within easy reach—either on foot along the beach or by car just across the street.
In spring, summer, fall, and winter, it guarantees a relaxing dream vacation on Sylt—whether sunbathing on the beach or on the south or west balcony of the house, taking breezy fall walks by the sea amidst autumn storms, Frisian tea or mulled wine behind cozy, sheltered windows overlooking the sea as ice floes drift by, or the spring awakening at Easter with the first warming rays of sunshine in southern Sylt—at the “Haus über dem Meer—Seeblick,” you’ll find pure relaxation in every season.
You, too, can soon be among the lucky few who get to spend their dream vacation in this one-of-a-kind place. Look forward to it!
