Your temporary home, measuring a good 100 square meters, is located in a Wilhelminian-style villa built in 1896. It’s situated on a quiet side street with a park in the Zehlendorf villa district and is close to our famous Grunewald lakes, where you can swim. All forms of public transportation (bus, U-Bahn, and S-Bahn) to the city center are within a 5- to 10-minute walk. Grocery stores and restaurants are also right in the neighborhood. Relax with the whole family in this peaceful accommodation.
Your apartment in this historic building features 3 rooms: a living room, a dining and study area, and a living room with a sleeper sofa and access to the balcony.
In just 10 minutes, you’ll be at the edge of the Grunewald Forest, where you’ll find plenty of nature and our famous swimming lakes, “Krumme Lanke” and “Schlachtensee.” It’s also a paradise for joggers. At Schlachtensee, you’ll also find the restaurant of the same name, featuring a large beer garden. Not far from us is the Free University of Berlin, home to many research institutes, and the Dahlem Museums. So you don’t have to head into the city center to enjoy a cultural getaway. If you’re in the mood for a horseback ride, you’re warmly welcome at our estate, which is just under a 40-minute drive away. Remember to book your riding lessons in advance.
Our house is located on a very quiet side street in the center of Berlin-Zehlendorf. The only noise comes from the bus that runs there, which you can take to downtown Berlin. Parking is easily available on the street near the house. In the apartment, you’ll find maps showing nearby restaurants, shops (including many organic supermarkets and a weekly market), and the swimming lakes, all of which are just a few minutes away. The S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations are also just under a 10-minute walk away.
