Ticino villa with large pool and stunning lake view - on 8,800m² plot

The terrain of al Casarico with the Ticino Villa (and another cottage) is very widely known: the size of the (flat) land, the absolutely private location and the strangely beautiful (270 degree) view, make even the local residents of al Casarico praise it as 'the heaven'.
It is the perfect place for nature lovers, with privacy and undisturbed holiday fun in a Mediterranean ambience.
The villa is comfortable with a large, cosy lounge with an open fireplace, a simple but fully equipped kitchen and three chic, spacious bedrooms with attached bathrooms.

On both sides of the house there are patios: Sun or shade, depending on the need. Private pool (9 - 5 m) at the house with shades of grape pergola.
Parking lot is 3 minutes away. A beautiful forest trail leads from the parking lot to the heavenly abode. The concierge will come to pick you up at the car parking upon arrival.
Additional service is possible: breakfast service, cook dinner, shopping.


Description of the holiday domicile: The heavenly holiday domicile is located 250 metres above the picturesque village of Vira (Lake Maggiore). The access road is walkable up to 3 minutes (on foot). This 3-minute walk is very rewarding when you arrive at the 8800m2 large plot. It's a stunning location, which is an absolute rarity in Ticino!

Ein schöner Flecken Erde

Das Haus stehe abseits und bietet viel Privatsphäre. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und dank dem Heizstrahler bei der gedeckten Terrasse konnten wir auch diesen nass-kalten Sommer 2021 geniessen.

Das Objekt ist wunderschön in einer Waldschneise gelegen. Tolle Aussicht, gepflegter Pool, Wanderwege direkt vom Haus weg. Das Haus ist etwas Älter aber gepflegt und schön gross. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Unsere Zeit im Al Casarico

Die Lage und das Haus war einfach perfekt. Mit Pool, Hotspot viel Umschwung und einem grossem Haus war diese Woche ein Volltreffer. Jedoch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war im Voraus sehr mangeld. Ich musste alles selber fragen, ob wir dieses und jenes benötigen. Z.B Duvet, Gewürze... Frage, Antwort-dauer bis zu 3Wochen.

Fast wie im Paradies :-)

Der "Umschwung" des Hauses ist genial. Alle können sich super bewegen, "sportlichen" Aktivitäten steht nichts im Weg. Bei heissen Temperaturen stehen genügend Schattenplätze zur Verfügung. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Wir hatten eine Super-Woche!

Belle villa mais qui se mérite de part l accès

belle villa calme bien située vue merveilleuse mais difficile à trouver Accès difficile par un chemin de 300m avec gros cailloux après le parking (Brouettes pour monter les bagages du parking)Très bon accueil par les concierges 2 chambres sur 3 rénovées Très belle piscine mais froide... la chambre famille du bas un peu triste et vieillotte Beaucoup de balades magnifiques autour

Wunderschön

Das Haus ist auf einem wirklich schönen Anwesen mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Die Zimmer sind neu gemacht und zum wohlfühlen perfekt. Haben den ganzen Tag am Pool und im freien verbracht. Unser Hund verbrachte die meiste Zeit im Haus, da es einfach zu heiss war. Sonst hatten wir ihn an einer Leine, weil er mit seinem Jagdtrieb in den Wald gelaufen wäre. Die Betreuer vor Ort sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Vielen Dank an Herr Nusteling, Wilma und Alex für diesen wunderbaren Urlaub!

Ein Traum!

Wir haben das Wochenende im Haus in Magadino so richtig genossen. Die Aussicht ist grandios und das Haus wunderschön. Für eine grössere Gruppe oder Familie absolut empfehlenswert. Die Schlüsselübergabe hat wunderbar geklappt, Alex und Wilma waren sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit! - nochmals ein grosses Danke an euch. Der Preis ist völlig fair, für das was man alles bekommt an diesem schönen Fleck Erde. Es war ein rundum perfektes Wochenende!

idyllisches domizil für familie, kinder und unsere treusten freunde die vierbeiner. wir haben eine wunderschöne wuche im ferienhaus al casarico verbracht. erholung, ruhe, badespass wie auch die natur ganz nahe erleben. ich kann mit gutem gewissen das ferienhaus weiterempfehlen. herzlichen dank an die vermieterin, auf ein andermal..

Most idyllic site and breathtaking views

What a wonderful holiday I had with my family. Everybody was catered for. Enjoyed the pool, kids for messing about and a nice size for swimming (working off holiday sense) and enjoyed table tennis and the trampoline and lawn good size for a game of badminton. Views from the house are stunning. Nice walks from the house up the hill to Monti Viro and going down to Vira. House very well equipped and very clean. We enjoyed every meal on the veranda around the big table, which sate all of us very comfortably and again with great views. And not to forget my Dog was also very well catered for, with the large garden and we enjoyed our morning walk up the hill. So I can only highly recommend it and hope myself we will be able to return sometime. Many thanks to Verena. Colin & Franziska Smith

The perfect vacation!

That was our first time abroad with our kids. We stayed at "al Casarico" for a whole week with our 3 daughters, ages 4 to 6 and we had an amazing vacation. The house, as promised, has a beautiful amazing view and it had even more equipment than we needed. The housekeepers were wonderful, very kind and helpful. They showed a great hospitality, kept our privacy and answered any question. The house was very clean and the garden is beautiful. We recommend this villa and we would be more than happy to come back!

Il Paradiso - ein wunderbarer Ort, mit traumhafter Aussicht, eine Ecke auf dem Grundstück ist schöner als die andere. Wir waren mit Freunden da, alles Familien mit Kindern, perfekt für jedes Alter. Einzig der Pool ist für die kleinen Kinder, die nicht schwimmen können, etwas gefährlich. Dafür ist er für die grossen und die Erwachsenen zu jeder Tageszeit toll - mit Aussicht am Tag, mit Beleuchtung in der Nacht. Perfekt auch die grosse Wiese, für Fussball, Badminton, zum Austoben - und natürlich das Trampolin und der Pingpongtisch. All dies erlaubt auch den Eltern eine gemütliche Zeit, da die Kinder sich selber beschäftigen können. Die Küche ist im Vergleich zu den Schlafzimmern etwas alt, aber es ist alles da, was es braucht. Die Betreuung durch José und Klaas ist ganz toll, man sieht sie kaum, aber sie sind immer da um zu helfen, wenn etwas fehlt. Insgesamt einfach ein traumhafter Urlaub. Herzlichen Dank!

Villa mit Traumausblick und traumhafte Ruhe

Wir waren 7 Jugendliche für 3 Tage vor Ort: Positiv: Das Haus hat einen perfekten Standort, abgeschnitten vom Rest der Häuser im Wohnviertel. Dies bedeutet absolute Ruhe und Bewegungs bzw. Tatenfreiheit. Es stört niemanden, wenn man lärmt, spielt oder grillt. Der Pool ist wunderbar zur Abkühlung zwischendurch und das ganze Areal ist mit Kinder- / Jugendfreundlichen Tools ausgestattet. Zudem hat es einige wunderschöne Plätze einfach zum verweilen, wie ein erhobenes Plateau für den perfekten Seeblick mit Stühlen und Tischen oder eine Terrassee im 1. Stock des Hauses. Auch auf den Plätzen der Liegestühle oder im Loungebereich neben dem Pool lässt es sich verweilen. Einen super gepflegten Garten lädt zum Fussball oder sonstigem Spiel ein. Innen ist das Haus stylisch eingerichtet und hat Kamin sowie schöne Badzimmer. Die Küche ist ausreichend ausgestattet. Zudem hat es eine schöne Waldstelle, ein tolles Riesentrampolin und auch noch einen Ping-Pong Tisch zur Verfügung. Negativ: Was am Anfang ein wenig die mentale "Freiheit" einschränkte, war dass der Gärtner/Personal das Haus grad neben an bewohnte - jedoch haben wir mit der Zeit bemerkt, dass dieser gar nicht bemerkt bzw. man ihn praktisch nicht zu Gesicht bekommt und man recht abgeschirmt ist gegenüber seiner Präsenz. Zudem hat man bei Einkäufen einen rechten Weg zurückzulegen und muss die letzten 100-200 Meter zu Fuss durch das Waldstück zurück legen. Das Personal ist aber immer zur Hilfe, wenn man dies möchte. Wenn man genügend einkauft von Anfang an, beugt man diese Problem jedoch vor und kann den Aufenthalt richtig geniessen. Vom Toilettenpapier könnte noch ein wenig mehr zur Verfügung gestellt werden als 1 Rolle pro Toilette - sonst wirklich alles vorhanden und top sauber und ordentlich. Summary: Wir kritisieren hier auf einem hohen Niveau (Details). Wir waren im Grossen und Ganzen SEHR zufrieden mit der Villa und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

Ein Wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen

Wir waren soeben auf Al Casarico in den Ferien.Es ist paradiesisch und wirklich so wie von all den Anderen Bewertern schon beschrieben Traumhaft schön dort.Man findet die Ruhe zum entspannen und hat Alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen.Auch mit Kindern. Und zudem kann man die tollsten Fotos machen.Einen solchen Hintergrund findet man ja nicht überall.Uns hat es super gefallen und wir planen schon heute wieder mal dort unseren Urlaub zu verbringen.

Al Casa Rico is my 'parental home'. My mother was a Swiss, my father was a Dutch. My parents bought the property in 1954 and designed the house and landscaped garden. So my whole life has already been spent al Casarico and went to school as a child in Locarno.
In 2007, I bought the house as part of inheritance. Immediately afterwards we renovated the villa as well as the swimming pool and patios at a large scale.
I am very much connected to al Casarico and we love this place very beautiful.
My husband and I live with our two children in Netherlands.
In Netherlands I run a famous 'Bed and Breakfast / Holiday home' (Check out the website link).
My husband is an orthopaedic shoe technician. We both work in a private shop.
We are very delighted that so many guests find their way to al Casarico and all of them are so excited! This gives us the possibility to hold on to our beloved family treasure and to give it the care that it deserves.

Al Casa Rico is a dream.... This is actually the general opinion of all people who enter the property.
The plot itself is a big and very beautiful landscaped garden, the location is not secluded but it is absolutely private, the view is second to none and the villa and the many patios as well as the crystal clear pool have a lot to offer.
