Our newly renovated vacation rental (10/2023) is located in Hallerndorf in the district of Forchheim (Upper Franconia), between Bamberg and Nuremberg.
Franconian Switzerland is right nearby and offers great opportunities for rock climbing, hiking, and canoeing.
A well-developed network of bike paths awaits you, and you can hop on right from your doorstep. We’d be happy to give you tips for a lovely bike tour or take you on a short exploration of our beautiful countryside.
Our many small family-run breweries, with their cozy inns and beer cellars (beer gardens), invite you to linger. With 7 breweries for a population of 4,000, you’re guaranteed a wide variety of excellent beers.
The Aisch, a small river that flows through town, is a true angler’s paradise (day passes available). Our vacation rental is located right on the Aisch River and along the Franconian Way of St. James.
The World Heritage city of Bamberg is just 20 km away, and the royal city of Forchheim—home to the world’s largest beer garden—is about 10 km away. Nuremberg and Nuremberg Airport are approximately 50 km and 45 km away, respectively.
