The vacation apartment is located on the first floor of a historic half-timbered house and is 83 m² in size. It is bright, cozy and furnished to a high standard. The German Tourism Association has classified it with 3 stars. All rooms have been freshly renovated and lovingly decorated with a lot of individuality.

There is a cozy village café right next door. Beautiful nature, a bathing lake and an open-air museum are in the immediate vicinity. Celle, Lüneburg, Hanover and Hamburg are easy to reach thanks to the good connections.

Hösseringen is 5 km away from Suderburg. Suderburg has restaurants, supermarkets, doctors, a pharmacy, a petrol station, a technical college and a train station. You can also explore the region from here by train.

Whether it's a reading, covered wagon ride, cabaret, crafts market, concert or mushroom hike - interesting events take place in Hösseringen and the surrounding area all year round. Guided cycling and hiking tours are also offered.

Every year in June, the popular KlangRauschTreffen takes place in the museum village of Hösseringen, with many musicians and music lovers, a dance stage, chill-out tent and workshops.

Ein besonderes Highlight der Region ist das 3-tägige Open R Festival in Uelzen – namhafte Musiker und Bands aus Metal, Pop, Rock und Schlager locken jährlich bis zu 30.000 Musikfans in die Hansestadt, nur rund 20 km vom Heidjerhaus in Hösseringen entfernt. Zu den Stars, die beim Open R aufgetreten sind, zählen Elton John, Roland Kaiser, Die Ärzte, Johannes Oerding, Sting, Silbermond, Bob Geldof Fischer-Z und Jan Delay.

Das Heidjerhaus ist Hösseringen ist ein über 300 Jahre altes Fachwerkhaus. Es wurde 1710 erbaut und stand ursprünglich knapp 20 km entfernt in Stadorf, ebenfalls im Landkreis Uelzen. Die Findlinge des Fundaments stammen von der abgerissenen Napoleonbrücke in Bad Bodenteich.

Das Heidjerhaus ist ein Dreiständerhaus und somit eine Zwischenform aus Zwei- und Vierständerbau. Die Deckenbalken reichen von Außenwand zu Außenwand und werden im Haus noch einmal durch eine Holzstütze getragen. Es handelt sich somit um durchlaufende Balken auf drei Stützen. Von außen lässt sich der Haustyp oft an der Asymmetrie erkennen. Diele und Tor befinden sich nicht direkt unter der Firstspitze.

Die stützenden Eichenbalken im Inneren prägen das Heidjerhaus noch heute, ebenso wie die große, asymmetrisch versetzte Eingangstür.
