Holiday Home 'Alte Tischlerei Engelsbach' with Mountain View, Private Garden and Wi-Fi

New, modern vacation home for two people built in 2021 at the foot of the Thuringian Forest, near Friedrichroda, with its own sauna house in the garden.



A small, modern solid wood house with all comforts (e.g. box-spring bed, fully equipped kitchenette, underfloor heating, internet TV, free WiFi, sauna house for sole use) was built on the site of a former carpentry workshop. During construction and furnishing, special emphasis was placed on the use of natural and uncontaminated materials.

The non-smoking house is 42 m2 in size and suitable for allergy sufferers. Pets are not allowed. There is a free parking lot in front of the house. A lockable bicycle storage facility is available. Sauna, bed linen, towels, energy costs and final cleaning are included in the price. Sauna towels and bathrobes on request for 5,- Euro / person.

Engelsbach is a small nature park village in the Thuringian Forest, located between Friedrichroda and Georgenthal.

Hiking and cycling trails in the direction of Rennsteig and surrounding villages start directly in the village. The climatic health resorts of Friedrichroda and Finsterbergen are both just 3 km away. The hiking paradises of Tambach-Dietharz, Bad Tabarz and Georgenthal are 5 and 8 km away respectively. Numerous excursion destinations in the near and far surroundings offer variety for those interested in culture; e.g. 20 minutes by car to Gotha, 35 minutes to Eisenach and 45 minutes to Erfurt or Weimar. The sports facilities in Oberhof can be reached in 35 minutes.
