You can walk to a bakery, a butcher, and a small general store.<br><br>The town of Tönning is nearby. Here you’ll find the Multimar Wattforum (a large interactive aquarium), the historic harbor with its warehouse and boat tours to the seal colonies, and many small cafes and restaurants. The wide sandy beaches of St. Peter-Ording are just a short drive away (about 25 minutes by car). Husum, Friedrichstadt, Flensburg, and the Danish border are also easily accessible. You can enjoy the peace and quiet while having the port town of Tönning and great shopping options (almost) right on your doorstep.<br>If the weather happens to be less than ideal, a visit to the Dünentherme is well worth it. The water park is located right next to the beach access in the Bad district and features a wave pool, a children’s pool, a whirlpool, an outdoor pool, a slide, and a large sauna area with a view of the sea. Right next to the Dünentherme is the large wellness area, offering numerous treatments for spa guests and visitors.
