Bungalow Ruhewinkel 1, very quiet location

The allergy-friendly Ruhewinkel 1 bungalow is a single-story structure located on the outskirts of the idyllic Frisian village of Alkersum, in the heart of the island of Föhr. It measures approximately 65 m² and sleeps four, featuring a small garden with a south-facing terrace, a beach chair, and patio furniture. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed inside the house, and smoking is permitted only on the terrace. In front of the house is a meadow, and right next to it is a large pasture with the ponies Erwin and Hannes, who look forward to your visit and would love to make friends with you or your children. If you’d like to do some laundry during your stay, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer is available in the building next door for a fee.

The house is laid out as follows: LIVING ROOM (a corner sofa, an armchair, a coffee table, satellite TV, radio, free Wi-Fi), small garden with a beach chair, a south-facing terrace with patio furniture, a parasol, and an awning, fully equipped KITCHEN with dining area (including a dining table with two chairs and a corner bench, dishwasher, oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, coffee maker, toaster, egg cooker, cutlery, pots), BEDROOM with a double bed (180 x 200 cm), wardrobe, and dresser; a second BEDROOM with two single beds (one bed measures 90 x 190 cm, the other 90 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe; BATHROOM with shower, toilet, towel warmer, sink, mirror cabinet, hair dryer, and a HALLWAY with a small coat rack for jackets. A parking space is located right next to the house. You can park your bicycles in your small garden. An infrared sauna in the house next door is available for shared use.
In the village, near the house, you’ll find: a bakery, a farm shop with fresh milk and cheese made on-site, a café, a bus stop, the West Coast Art Museum, three horseback riding stables (at one of which you can book mudflat and cross-country rides), a large playground, and an electric vehicle charging station.
On the property’s own beach meadow in Utersum, you can breathe in the fresh North Sea air, soak up the sun, and take a refreshing dip in the sea. If you’d like, you can also cast your line at any time at a private fishing pond (about 1 km from the house).
