Welcome to this fully equipped vacation home with sauna in an undisturbed location.



This vacation home is located on a sheltered natural plot in Gaustablikk, at the foot of the 1883 meter high Gaustatoppen, and is ideal for mountain hikers. The interior of the house exudes a warm atmosphere and the window front in the living room almost gives you the feeling of sitting outside. You are sure to feel completely at ease. In the evening, after a soothing sauna session, you can go out onto the beautiful terrace, light the hanging fire bowl and round off the day with a good meal. There is a floodlit toboggan run right next to the hut.



The hike up to the top of Gaustatoppen is one of the most popular in Norway, and the view from the top is phenomenal. You can also take the cable car inside the mountain to the summit if your legs can't take the hike. If you want to hike to the summit, Stavsro is the most popular starting point. There are several different hiking trails that all lead to the summit. So both families with children and experienced mountain hikers can find a route they enjoy. A second highlight for mountain hikers is the cave, Hulderhola. If you are looking for more experiences, we recommend a sauna session in one of the floating saunas at Lake Kvitå or a hike to the summit, Toreskyrkja.
