The Bregenzerwald Card is included in the price for stays of 3 nights or more between May 1 and October 31. With it, you have free access to all mountain railways, public transportation, and outdoor swimming pools in the Bregenzerwald.

What makes our place SPECIAL?


The awareness that our beautiful mountains, the unspoiled landscape, the chirping of the birds, and the fresh air are not something to be taken for granted.
This is what awaits you—and, with this awareness, hospitable people as well.

Our house is located in the center of Schoppernau. Just a few minutes’ walk from the Diedamskopf mountain railways, the swimming pool, the bike path, the grocery store, the doctor’s office, the tourist office, the alpine dairy, and more. In winter, the ski bus—which takes you to the valley station of the Diedamskopf mountain railways and the Grunholz lift—stops right in front of our house. For cross-country skiers, the trailhead is right across the street.


Schoppernau is the heart of the rear Bregenzerwald. At the foot of the Diedamskopf (our insider tip), the larger ski and hiking areas of Mellau/Damüls and Warth/Lech are also just a short ski bus ride away. This makes Schoppernau the ideal starting point for winter and summer sports enthusiasts.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out from 5:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
