Schlossblick: Küche Kamin Parken Hofladen

Our historic three-sided farmstead is located in the heart of Steinhöfel, easily accessible via the village’s main street. A beautiful vacation rental with private access via a spiral staircase leading to the balcony—and a view of the castle. We’ve restored the original floorboards throughout, sanding and oiling them by hand to bring them back to life, so the apartment radiates the warmth of wood. A large kitchen-dining area adjoins the living area. The fireplace provides cozy warmth on cooler days.

The accommodation
The bedroom features a king-size box-spring bed with under-bed storage, reading lamps, and a dresser for clothes. From here, a narrow door leads to the kids’ den with a bunk bed. In the living room, there’s a large couch in front of the smart TV and fireplace, which can also be used as a sleeping area (140×200)—though we recommend a maximum occupancy of 4 people. We’ve built in a spacious kitchen with a wooden countertop and a wooden bar serving as a dining area—fully equipped with a large refrigerator and wine rack. A bright bathroom with built-in shelving made from reclaimed floorboards and a bathtub adds an extra touch of luxury. Towels, soap/shampoo, and bed linens are provided for all guests.

The private balcony offers sunny seating areas. In the courtyard, guests also have access to seating areas shaded by trees, as well as a fire pit that can be used after consulting with us.

In our farm store, a wide variety of food items from us and local producers are available around the clock. Access is via the same door code used for the accommodation—this will be sent to you via email and text message one day before arrival.

We heat the property in accordance with the recommendations of the Federal Environment Agency. You’re welcome to light the fireplace for 5€ per box of wood.

Guest Access
A private entrance ensures maximum privacy for our guests. The vacation rental is located on the 1st floor and is provided for your exclusive use. A parking spot on the lawn is available—if you have multiple cars, please use the parking spots across from the church.

Additional Important Information
Our farmstead is 130 years old, with some sections of the inner courtyard featuring historic cobblestones. Access is via a spiral staircase. Therefore, the vacation rental is unfortunately not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
