Spacious One Bedroom Suite in Huntington Station.

The guest threatened to leave a nasty review if I did not refund in full her one-week reservation. She never spoke to me personally nor did she give us a chance to address her issues. Our spacious, newly renovated apartment has received predominantly 5-star reviews from more than 10 guests in the past 3 months, all on a different platform. My cleaning lady did admit to forgetting to throw out a chicken from the fridge, but that should not have been a deal-breaker. The bathroom is fine, and all the photos are accurate. If the guest had only reached out to us, we would have given her a discount for her minor inconvenience. Sadly, she did not and decided to spitefully leave a vicious, negative review.

Guest asked to bring service animal. Our policy is not to allow pets. After checking VRBO policy, we graciously allowed the service animal. Guest asked to come early, but never specified time. She came at 9 am (check-in time is 3 pm. I NEVER said apartment had been cleaned.) Cleaning lady did not come until a few hours later. Guest should have communicated exactly when she would like to check in. (No good deed goes unpunished.) Parking lot was in safe secure location a block away from main street. Guest never communicated about alleged incident, in which case we would have immediately corrected situation. “Industrial doors” are for guest’s safety and protection as is private parking lot, Our goal is for guests to have a superior stay, as is reflected in the overwhelmingly positive reviews of our guests. Please also note apartment and bathroom were completely renovated — down to studs — two years ago, as the photos illustrate. There is no mold.
