New holiday apartment in the heart of northern Hesse! Our attic apartment is ideal as a cozy base for your stay in the beautiful Kurhessian mountains. If desired, we offer connection to our small horse farm for fans of Icelandic horses, both big and small. Horses can be petted extensively here :-). You can also watch our flock of chickens and get fresh eggs for breakfast. The wooded surroundings are ideal for hiking and cycling trips (Ars Natura circular hiking trail. It is 2 kilometers to the R1 cycle path). Eder and Fulda invite you to boat trips and water sports. The three castle town of Felsberg is on the doorstep, as is the Knüllgebirge with a beautiful Animal park. Within 15 minutes you can be in Kassel (UNESCO World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe, Grimm World Fairy Tale Museum, Museum of Sepulchral Culture, Wilhelmshöhe Castle with a unique art collection, etc.). Kassel also offers you everything that young people expect from the urban culture of a big city. The romantic, historic, half-timbered towns of Melsungen and Fritzlar are also only around 15 minutes away. Within a 25-90 minute drive you can reach other beautiful excursion options such as the fjord-like Edersee, the Kellerwald National Park, the Löwenburg and the Sauerland. In winter, weather permitting, the Hohe Meißner (home of Mrs. Holle) and Kassel's local mountain, the Hohe Gras, invite you to enjoy winter sports or take a walk in the snow. Two to three kilometers away you will find shopping opportunities, a train connection, and the Guxhagen junction of the A7. After a visit to the Kurhessentherme, with sauna and wellness facilities, in Kassel, you can end the day in our holiday apartment by the wood-burning stove with a glass of wine.You Would you like to live sustainably even on vacation?
