“Haus Deichnest,” newly built in 2023 and featuring two modernly furnished vacation apartments, is located in “Oll Deep,” a quiet residential street with no through traffic and a cul-de-sac layout, centrally located in a desirable residential area in

the North Sea spa town of Bensersiel. The North Sea spa town of Bensersiel is located directly on the unique natural wonder “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park,” a “UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site” since 2009.

The vacation apartments at “Haus Deichnest” are approximately 60 square meters in size and designed to accommodate two to eight people, including a small child. They feature a friendly, modern decor and layout and are very well equipped. In addition to a fully equipped kitchenette—complete, of course, with a dishwasher and microwave—the ground-floor vacation apartment features a partially covered terrace, while the upstairs apartment has a balcony.

When you stay with us, you’ll be right in the heart of Bensersiel. Very close by is the “Nordseetherme” bathing and wellness complex, a modern, heated water park and leisure facility. All spa facilities, as well as a modern wellness, sauna, and fitness center, are also located there. At the “Nordseetherme,” you can really pamper yourself.

The beach facilities are just a few minutes’ walk away. You can also easily reach all the other attractions Bensersiel has to offer on foot in no time.

For your evening stroll in the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park” on the North Sea, you can walk directly across the dike—a short walk of less than five minutes. Then just take a short stroll—or even spend a few hours there—and enjoy the sunset over the Wadden Sea.

Adjacent to the “Nordseetherme” mentioned earlier—almost right next door—is the spa park, through which you can walk past the harbor to the beach facilities.

When you reach the Bensersiel beach facilities, you’ll find the beach itself, complete with an adventure playground and the “Kunterbunt” children’s center. In addition, the beach features the new beach portal with “Bennis Abenteuerland,” a covered beach area for children. There’s also the seawater wave pool with a giant slide, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and various events, as well as many more ideas to make the most of your vacation.

You’ll also find plenty of shops—such as those in the Deichpassage—as well as restaurants and cafés along your way to the beach. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the “parlor” of the “Harlingerland” region. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. The best way to get there is by bike, riding through the marshlands along the “Hammerweg” or the idyllic “Kajedeich” alongside the “Benser Tief.” Wonderful tours await you.

Bensersiel’s fantastic offerings are complemented by the over 475-year-old knight’s town of Esens, with its historically developed town center. Here you’ll find a wide variety of events—both large and small—as well as museums, dining options, and shopping opportunities.
