While there, be sure not to miss a visit to Bentlage Abbey. Exceptional exhibitions and the expansive parkland stretching all the way to the Gottesgabe salt works make Bentlage one of the most beautiful destinations in the Münsterland region. Very close by is the Rheine Nature Zoo, which is popular not only with families. Bentheim Castle, located above Bad Bentheim, is a wonderful destination for a day trip. Don’t miss a tour along the castle walls. Not far from the vacation rental, you’ll find the bike paths of the Emsland Route and the Dortmund-Ems Canal Route. At Bentlage Abbey, you also have access to the 100 Castles Route and the popular Ems Bike Path. A worthwhile destination for culture lovers is the Kunsthaus at Gravenhorst Abbey in Hopsten.
