The Vilzsee is a link in the chain of lakes south of Mirow - here you can swim, fish, canoe or sail and discover the natural beauty of the region from the water. Mirow is a quiet town that is idyllically situated on the edge of the lake of the same name. During a city walk you can visit the romantic castle island with the residential castle, the historic gatehouse and the Johanniterkirche. The Mirow lock on the Müritz-Havel waterway is also worth a visit. Numerous restaurants and cafes in and around Mirow invite you for a break with coffee and cake or a fresh fish dish.
