Vacation home UNS VAGELHUS in the Baltic Sea resort of Ahrenshoop

The Althäger Harbor is one of the most striking and popular spots on the Fischland-Darß Peninsula.
Less than 100 meters from this prominent spot, yet in an idyllically quiet location, the UNS VAGELHUS vacation home was completed in the summer of 2017. It is about 900 meters to the Baltic Sea beach at Hohe Ufer and about 750 meters to the edge of Ahrenshoop’s town center, with its shops, restaurants, galleries, and more.

In addition to its exceptional location, the open, airy character—with plenty of light and fresh air—is one of the standout
features of this unique vacation home. The owners have done an outstanding job of combining a floor plan designed for openness with a palpable attention to detail in the furnishings. Thanks to this dedication, you’ll enjoy a high level of comfort and convenience that promises a relaxing vacation atmosphere.
The approximately 600 m² property rises from street level by about one story’s height to the larger rear section, which features a garden, terrace, and main entrance. At street level are the parking spaces and the entrance to the UNS MUUSLOCK guest apartment. The access path consists partly of stairs and partly of a ramp and is not accessible by car. On the garden level are the main entrance, your garden, the terrace (approx. 50 m²), and the sauna built into the garden shed.

Through the main entrance—CAUTION: clearance height 1.90 m!—you enter a spacious hallway leading to the shower room/toilet, one bedroom, and a passageway to the kitchen area, as well as the stairs to the lower and upper floors; straight ahead, the hallway opens up to the large living area. This area occupies about two-thirds of the total first floor space, providing ample room for the kitchen area, dining area, and upholstered seating area. Numerous windows, as well as exits to the balcony and terrace, let in plenty of light and fresh air.

The bedroom on this level also provides access to the terrace, and its occupants have access to the adjacent shower room with a toilet.

The upper floor also features a hallway with an adjoining small reading room, from which the individual rooms branch off: Two bedrooms (12 m² and 15 m²), each with a double box-spring bed (180 x 200 cm) and a TV, as well as a large bathroom with a freestanding tub, shower, two sinks, a bidet, and a toilet.

If you are traveling with more than 6 people, you can book the UNS MUUSLOCK apartment as well, which can then be connected to the VAGELHUS apartment by opening a connecting door in the basement.
