Large, cozy family cabin at Norway Norefjell ski area

Fjellheim is a large, cozy family cabin located in a beautiful, quiet natural area with views of Gaustablikk. It is a short distance from the ski slope, and the cross-country ski trail is right behind the cabin. In the summer, there are plenty of opportunities for pleasant hikes and bike rides right from the cabin door.

The cabin was renovated in 2019 and now features a sauna and two modern bathrooms. The cabin is situated on a private, 2-acre natural lot with a summer road leading all the way to the cabin, as well as beautiful outdoor areas featuring benches, tables, and a fire pit.

Thanks to the cabin’s size, it’s easily spacious enough for two families to vacation here at the same time. Parking for two cars is available right next to the cabin. In the winter, you only have to walk 65m up from the lower parking lot.

The cabin has its own sledding run right below it. The cabin is five minutes from the ski resort and a 1.5-hour drive from Oslo.
There are great hiking trails in the forest and mountains in the summer and fall. We love the cabin ourselves and try to take good care of both it and the furnishings. Therefore, we are happy to rent to people who share this approach.

Due to asthma and allergies in our family, pets and smoking indoors are strictly prohibited. In principle, tenants must bring their own sheets and towels, but this can be discussed. Cleaning of the cabin is in addition to the rent and is mandatory. The cabin is located in Norehammeren and offers fantastic views. The area is very child-friendly and offers direct access to cross-country ski trails and hiking trails.

Overview of the Fjellheim cabin:

The main living room features a large dining table that seats 10 people and a comfortable sofa. A large fireplace and wood stove both quickly heat up the cabin and create a cozy atmosphere in the living room.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooktop, spacious refrigerator, blender, kettle, coffee maker, and oven.

Two modern bathrooms: Bathroom 1 has a sink, shower, and toilet. Bathroom 2 has a shower, washing machine, separate toilet, and sauna.

There is a terrace outside the cabin facing southeast and southwest with benches, tables, and a fire pit.
