Cornflower vacation apartment (63 sqm)

Our “Kornblume” vacation rental (approx. 63 square meters) is located on the 1st floor and features 2 bedrooms, 1 living room with a well-equipped kitchenette and a south-facing balcony, and a bathroom with a tub and toilet. It can accommodate up to 4 people. A crib and high chair can be provided free of charge. The apartment features hardwood floors. Each room has at least one window fitted with a screen. Our vacation home, which includes 4 vacation apartments, is family-run by the Ott family. The vacation apartments are furnished in a modern and welcoming style; each one is individually decorated and has its own unique charm. Our village still has a strong agricultural character but also boasts an interesting history: in the center of the village stands the historic Landturm tower with its customs house, dating back to 1606. This landmark of Großharbach formerly served as a defensive tower and a customs post on the Rothenburg–Würzburg highway. The Harbach River once marked the border between the territory of the Free Imperial City of Rothenburg and the Margraviate of Ansbach. Remnants of the Rothenburg Landhege, a border wall, can still be seen today in the fields around Großharbach. The village square features a children’s playground and an outdoor bowling alley. We want every guest to feel completely at home with us—whether for a short stay or a longer vacation. The vacation rental is in a great location, ideal for relaxation and exploring the great outdoors. We’d be happy to provide you with fresh eggs from our free-range chickens, as well as fine Bacchus wine from our own vineyard in Tauberzell and other regional products. Particularly worth mentioning is the proximity to the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber; you definitely shouldn’t miss a visit to this town. To explore the region, you’ll find a wide variety of sights and destinations—from hiking trails and bike routes to historical landmarks and popular amusement parks. Whether you want to enjoy nature or experience cultural highlights, you’ll find something to suit every taste here. Last but not least, Franconia is known for its culinary delights. Our Franconian wine, made from the Bacchus grape variety grown in our own vineyard, is just waiting to be tasted, as are several excellent country inns in the surrounding area.We look forward to welcoming you to our accommodation and are always happy to assist you with tips for your stay! Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Check-out should take place between 10:00 AM and 10:30 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site. A baby crib can be provided free of charge upon request. Pets are allowed only upon request. A 100% prepayment will be charged upon booking. Payment is made by bank transfer. If the property is rented to another guest during your stay, the Ferienhof will charge you a pro-rata fee. The date of receipt by the Ferienhof determines whether a written or email cancellation notice was submitted in a timely manner.
