Beautiful Comfortable Two Bedroom Condominium

Beautiful, comfortable two bedroom, two bathroom condominium is located at Silverado II in the town of Winter Park. Short shuttle ride to Winter Park Resort. Our unit sleeps six with a queen bed in the master bedroom with its own bathroom, a queen in the second bedroom with an adjacent bathroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. After a full day of activities enjoy the 50 inch flat screen TV and DVD player in the living room and a 32 inch flat screen TV in the master bedroom. Relax in front of the cozy gas fireplace.
Our unit also contains brand new carpeting plus tile floors at the entry, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots, pans, etc. There are tile counter tops and all appliances including ice maker in refrigerator. And if you want to go online, our Condo is equipped with FREE WIRELESS INTERNET. This Condo provides exceptional value at an affordable price.
Silverado II is a serene, centrally located condominium complex in Winter Park. The complex offers several attractive amenities available without going outside including indoor pool, two hot tubs, a sauna, a fitness center, game room, laundry room and an underground PARKING GARAGE, which is ideal during the winter along with ski lockers.
Winter Park Resort has some of the best skiing in Colorado giving it the reputation as 'Colorado's Favorite' with an average snowfall of 370 inches per year. It offers two mountains, Winter Park and Mary Jane, with two distinct experiences for the price of one. Winter Park is renowned as a family oriented mountain with some great terrain parks while Mary Jane offers world class bump, bowl and tree skiing.
To get you to the mountain take the free shuttle which stops right in front of the building every 30/60 minutes or drive to the ski area which is five minutes away. Other winter activities include: tubing, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, skating, tobagganing and snowshoeing.
In the summer enjoy Rocky Mountain National Park, music festivals, Grand Lake, four championship golf courses, world class mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding. Also in the summer Winter Park Resort hosts a variety of family activity including an Alpine Slide, chairlift rides, miniature golf, a human maze, and more. Silverado II is within walking distance of Wolf Park which has a tennis court and children's playground equipment.
There are elevators to the 1st floor and stairs to the 3rd floor.

GREAT place for the cost

This was a fantastic condo for the price, you really can't beat it for a two bedroom option. It was on the top floor so there was not noise from above, quiet building and super close to town and about a 5 minute drive to the hill. Really a great value for a smaller family.

this place was great

we spend 5-6 weekends in winter park every ski season with our two kids and this was one of our favorites. kids loved the pool. the orange line drops you off at the front door after skiing. close enough to town you could walk if you wanted to. good layout to the condo and kitchen has all the pots/pans/utensils necessary for a great weekend.

Clean and Convenient

The condo was fine for our family. It was clean and the shuttle service was appreciated. There were some amenities missing that I thought could have been included such as soap, shampoo and conditioner as well as a few more kitchen staples.

The unit does have soap - dishwasher soap, liquid dish washing soap, liquid hand soap at each of the bathroom basins plus shower bar soap for each of the showers. The front desk will give you shampoo and conditioner if you ask. The kitchen has a good supply of pots, pans, utensils, small appliances, etc for your food preparation.

Nice Place to Stay

The condo was really nice and just a few blocks from downtown. Would have been nice to know this was on the 3rd floor and there was not an elevator all the way up. My husband has bad knees and the stairs were a killer on his knees but we had a great view, it was really nice and comfortable. Thank you for allowing us to use your condo.

Sorry that you have difficulty with the stairs. Please note that in the property description there is the notation: "Elevator from garage/reception area to 1st floor, stairs to condo on 3rd floor" That is how this 1981 building was built. We are pleased that things were comfortable and a great view. Again thank you.

Summer break

I took my 13 year old grandson on a mini mountain vacation. I found this condo to be a great unit. It's comfortable, quiet and I loved the area. Not in town, but close enough to enjoy everything the town has to offer. We used the pool and the hot tubs, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for the weekend. The owner supplies great directions on how to find the unit!

Nice comfortable space for sure!

Location was a shuttle route stop making it very convenient. The facility was clean and well maintained. The kitchen/dining area in the unit had a nice flow to it; it could have used a second large pot and measuring cups. Of course this comes from one who cooks in from scratch regularly. Many would not miss these items.

A bit grim for a vacation place, but not bad.

Positives: a nicely appointed kitchen and cozy temp, thanks to steam heat; covered parking; responsive building staff who quickly repaired the clogged toilet; ski shuttle nearby. Negatives: carpet so grimy that the bottoms of our feet turned gray; climbing 3 flights of stairs with heavy luggage; over-sized furniture that made for tight quarters; and a building badly in need of updating.

Thank you for your review. The unit's carpets have been cleaned. The listing does disclose that the unit is on the 3rd floor reached by stairs. The furniture is only a few years old, comfortable and selected for the convenience and comfort of our guests as several reviews state. We are pleased that the staff did their job to unclog the toilet.

Great location / Great condo

This condo was very easy to access and was very clean. It was a pleasure to stay in and my entire group had nothing but great things to say about the condo. We skied all day and then cooked dinner and hung out at night, and it was perfect for that. The hot tubs were awesome and never had any other people in them. All in all the only thing that I didn't like was it being on the third floor ... but the listing clearly stated that it was on the third floor, so I knew it going in! And with the price being significantly less than anything else ... I'd choose it time and time again. Thanks Cheryl!

2 minutes from downtown and about 5-7 mins from the ski area

Pros: This place was really nice to stay at because it was close to all the shops and restaurants. It was also close by to the Winter Park Ski Area which is why we stayed at this place. The pool, sauna and hot tub was a big plus especially after a long day of skiing/snowboarding. Fireplace kept the place warm. Cons- The place was on the third floor = Lots of Stairs to climb with lots of luggage. Elevator was broken the entire stay which is out of owner's control as it is the buildings responsibility. But the place itself was very stinky when we arrived. Smelled like mold and mildew. Also, stuff inside was pretty outdated. It wasn't very home feeling.

As stated in the listing the unit is on the 3rd floor accessed by steps. This was also stated in your reservation confirmation. The unit has never "smelled". Further, there was no report of you reporting anything to the staff. If you had, the staff would have addressed it. The unit was updated a couple years ago to have homey mountain themed furnishings.

Everything you need - soft and comfortable

This is the second Silverado II condo we've stayed in and they've both been fine! This unit has two large beds, so my son didn't have to do twins. The furniture and carpet are soft and comfortable and the kitchen had EVERYTHING including an automatic ice maker (rare). There are TV's in the master and also in the living room and the Internet was strong. The building looks to be the late 1960s or early 1970's but is well maintained, as is the unit. We visited in the summer, so windows were open and there was adequate cooling in the afternoons and nights were fine. If it's winter, I'm sure the underground parking is a wonderful thing. Overall, a great vacation home.

comfortable condo

The condo was a good size for the 4 of us; with separate bed and bathrooms for 2 couples. I really enjoyed the large, well stocked kitchen and nice dining table. There was always ample parking in the garage, which was great for keeping the car snow-free. The only down side was the walk from the garage to the condo, which included a couple of staircases. Only a bother when carrying luggage, etc. Otherwise, it was a very comfortable stay.

Spacious accommodation

The two bedrooms as well as the open living / dining / kitchen area was very large. Beds very comfortable. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of cooking capability and a typical, simple start of base items I've seen in other rentals. The property was very quiet and we liked the location up a hill a bit out of town. Underground parking was nice treat. There is a bus to ski areas nearby but runs only 1x/hour (check for latest). One of the rooms did require better cleaning but the owner was very quick on accommodating our request. As well as the owner was very timely and clear in all communications ahead of our check-in. Thank you.

A Wonderful Home & Fantastic Hosts; I Recommend with Enthusiasm!

The condo was super cozy. We communicated often per our need for guidance, which the owners were perfect. The view from the master balcony was nice to open the curtains and watch the morning start over the peaks. The kitchen is stocked very well with utensils, pots pans, you name it. I like vertical drop but not vertical stairs, but then again, I told my kids to pack light, "Right". We came to get busy, a few stairs should not matter "RIGHT". Okay, Just sayin', in the event you require first floor accommodations or a luggage elevator for any reason. They do have some cool guys who work there however, not speaking for them, but I bet they'd probably hook you up, if you called in advance and rapped with them nicely. One Cat is from Phili, Pa., Real Cool Dude!! Pool and Amenities are top notch. A group was having a family reunion for Thanksgiving in the banquet hall. The Hall Looked like a fantastic place to have a get together or wedding. The Lady at the front desk was on point, real friendly. extremely helpful and kind. I wished they'd had that nice bar and grill open during my stay, I love a good cold beer and such; probably would not have left the deal, other than to ski? In conclusion, I would rate the entire trip A+++ See you shortly after 2020 comes. Thank You Guys Nick Yukich, Texas Former GySgt/USMC Semper FI & GODS Speed...……"

Excellent stay in Winter Park, CO.

We very much enjoyed our stay at this well-maintained facility. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated, and was accurately represented by the online photos and descriptions. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen well furnished. Loved it!!!
