Quiet vacation apartment (100sqm) with balcony

The "Zur Ochsenweid" vacation rental is located on the first floor of a farmstead and offers 100 square meters of space for up to 5 people. Free parking, as well as free Wi-Fi and satellite TV, are available to you. The apartment features a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with two single beds, and a large sleeper sofa in the living area. The bathroom includes a shower, sink, toilet, changing table, and hair dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a stove, an oven, a kettle, a toaster, and a drip coffee maker. The closets are located in a walk-in closet. The balcony is accessible from both the living and dining areas. By arrangement, you can barbecue in the garden and use the seating area there as well. The vacation rental is located in a quiet, rural setting on a farm on the outskirts of Furth im Wald, home of the Drachenstich festival. The apartment is on the first floor. The farm property is home to ducks, chickens, a cat, and a dog. We grow our own vegetables and have fruit trees on our property. Upon request, some of these are available for our guests. There are numerous opportunities nearby for walks, hikes, bike rides, or even swimming. Set out from the vacation rental on day trips to the peaks of the Bohemian and Bavarian Forests and enjoy wonderful moments in the picturesque countryside. Nearby attractions, such as the Hohe Bogen, the Gibacht, the Osser, the Arber, the Kaitersberg, or the highest peak in the Bohemian Forest (Cerchov), invite you to enjoy extensive hiking or mountain biking tours. During the summer months of July and August, experience Germany’s oldest festival play, “Den Drachenstich,” in the town of Furth im Wald, featuring the world’s largest walking robot. The unique festival summer in the Cham district also offers other highlights, such as “Trenck der Pandur” in the neighboring town of Waldmünchen, the Bad Kötzting Forest Festival, and the Lichtenegger Castle Festival. Check-in from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM; check-out by 10:00 AM. Final cleaning (within normal limits) is included. No visitor’s tax is required. You can add a service package for 5 EUR per person. This includes hand towels, bath towels, and kitchen supplies. A high chair (with a baby seat if desired), a rollaway bed, or a crib are available upon request. Wi-Fi, parking, and satellite TV are available free of charge. This is a non-smoking apartment. Pets are not allowed. This is a self-catering vacation rental. However, upon request, we can provide the following: - Fruit and vegetables (depending on the season) - Honey (from the apiary of good friends) - Fresh eggs from our own chickens Keys will be handed over in person on site. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date. Final cleaning (within normal limits) is included. No visitor’s tax is required.
