Surroundings
This farmstead was founded 400 years ago in a unique location overlooking the reed beds of the Saaler Bodden. Following a major fire in 1991, the old farmhouse burned to the ground, leaving only the foundation walls. This thatched-roof house was then rebuilt in 1993 directly on the slope leading down to the Bodden. The house, with its thatched roof typical of the Fischland region, contains three units. From here, you have a beautiful view across the Bodden meadows to the water. Thanks to its location, you’ll enjoy a quiet and secluded stay here. It’s just under 2.5 kilometers to the town center. The art museum and the popular cliffs are just under two kilometers away on foot. Restaurants and cafés are just a stone’s throw away.
To the vacation rental
The upstairs apartment delights with its rustic and very cozy country-style furnishings. In the open-concept living and kitchen area, you’ll find a cozy sofa set with a TV, a kitchenette, and a dining table. The apartment has two bedrooms, each equipped with a double bed (two single mattresses). A bathroom with a shower and toilet rounds out the vacation home. The high-quality oak parquet flooring and the wooden furniture create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
The lovingly landscaped garden can be enjoyed by guests of all three vacation apartments on this stunning Bodden property, which offers access to the Saaler Bodden. Depending on vegetation and water levels, access to the Bodden from this natural property may be easier or more difficult at times. One parking space per apartment is located near the property, approximately 50 meters away.
