Located on a quiet street in the Nanawale subdivision near the historic town Pahoa (5 min.), explore the active volcano, Kilauea, (30 min.), or venture into Hilo Town (25 min. drive).

Sweet Jungle experience

This place felt lived in, in a good way, like staying at a friend or family's cottage. Good vibes and the pleasant sound of frogs at night. The kitchen had everything we required and we enjoyed the selection of snacks, treats and fresh fruit provided. The fresh cut flower arrangement was a nice touch too and the fragrance was so lovely. Our children enjoyed the selection of kids books in their bedroom and the ample living room couch spaces for lounging. A great home base for our Pahoa and Hilo adventures!

Weekend Stay

Attended a weekend family function nearby & this property made us feel like we were at home. Spacious inside & out and basic daily supplies were provided. Thank you for a relaxing weekened.

two weeks in heaven

We stayed at this residence for 2 weeks and enjoyed it immensely !! It was quite, private, clean and FUNCTIONAL. No bugs, not even a mosquito !! Everything worked, except the knives were is need of sharpening. I would use it again in a heartbeat.

Can't beat it for the money

The house was great for my friend and me who were meeting from distant places. Two full bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a very well-equipped kitchen, and a screened porch. We were completely satisfied with our stay. The property manager was very responsive and pleasant. The island is beautiful, and I really doubt you can find a less expensive place to stay that would equal the space and amenities.

Born and raised in PI, I moved to Guam in 1989 and met my wife Lucena. We moved to the island of Lanai for a time and then in 2005, my family and I relocated to the East side of the big island to be near our grandchildren. I love to travel, play poker, and meet people from around the world! Currently my wife Lucena is the Principle Broker for Pineapple Homes LLC. A real estate brokerage firm.

We chose and bought this property for the simple pleasure of fresh, spring fed county water. (Most subdivisions are still on catchment water tank systems). We were also enchanted by the openess that the vaulted ceilings create, as well as the location of home. I mean who wouldn't want to live on Dolphin Street?

County water, high speed internet service, screen in lanai, washer/dryer, and close to the entrance of Nanawale Subdivision, nice quite street. House has been upgraded with granite tops, vessel sinks, and wood flooring. The outside living space consist of a screen in Lanai, a place to drink your coffee in the morning and when in season pick avocados from tress.
