The vacation apartment covers a spacious area and is located on the right side of the first floor of the house. The open-concept living area, high ceilings, and arched doorways provide a magnificent, light-filled view of the south-facing veranda, typical of Borkum. The kitchen, featuring an inviting dining area, is located on this veranda. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to prepare culinary delights. You’ll find everything you need here—from an induction stove and microwave to a refrigerator. You can pick up fresh-baked rolls at the bakery just around the corner. Or you can treat yourself to a delicious breakfast at “Ria’s Beach.” WFV guests enjoy a special, exclusive offer at this cozy café with a view of the North Sea: Children ages 0–6 receive a “Räuberteller” and can eat with their parents for free. Children ages 6–12 pay €12.00 per breakfast. For guests 12 and older, the price is €20.00 per person. “Ria’s Beach” is just a 10-minute walk away (4 minutes by bike).

The cozy bedroom, adjacent to the living area, features a 7-zone pocket-spring box spring bed with a topper (160 x 200 cm), blackout curtains, and an internet-enabled TV invites you to relax and promises restful nights. In addition to the wardrobe, the spacious under-bed storage compartments of the box spring bed—which can be easily opened from both sides—offer ample storage space.

The cozy living area is furnished with a corner sofa that converts into a bed and features storage space. Its ease of use allows you to create an extra sleeping space in no time.
The sofa area, complete with a recliner, a 43-inch TV, and an electric fireplace, invites you to relax even in winter. Enjoy this oasis of comfort after long walks on the beach in the summer, or in the winter with a hot cup of East Frisian tea!

A special highlight of the apartment is the small patio at the back, which adjoins the kitchen area. Here, you can wind down the day with a good glass of wine or simply enjoy your breakfast while breathing in the fresh sea air.

Every window in the apartment is fitted with pleated blinds that are opaque yet let light through—without a blackout function. In the bedroom, there is an additional blackout curtain in addition to these pleated blinds.

The beach is also not far away, so you can fully enjoy the fresh breeze and the sound of the waves. In our cozy vacation apartments at “Haus Delphin,” 100% relaxation is guaranteed!

The house, which has been family-owned for four generations, was expanded in 2019 to include two beautifully renovated and modernized vacation apartments, and two additional apartments on the first floor were completed in the winter of 2024/25. With its central location on a very quiet side street in the old town center, it offers the perfect setting for your vacation on Borkum. In just a few minutes, you can reach the town center with its small shops, cafés, and restaurants. The train station, our WFV office, a bike rental shop, and the “Gezeitenland” seawater adventure pool are also located in the immediate vicinity of the house.

The North Beach is just 450–600 m away (a 2-minute bike ride). With its inviting promenade, lovely cafés and cocktail bars, the bandstand, and the offshore sandbar, there are plenty of opportunities here for relaxation and activity. In addition to long walks by the sea, a wide range of sports activities awaits you (including beach aerobics, beach volleyball, sailing, and surfing).
