Casa Del Mar


Casa Del Mar is located in the charming neighborhood of Crown Point. It is 180 yards to the beach. Pool, tennis court, Timbuck II shops and dining are only minutes away.

Rental check in days vary.. I try to accommodate vacationers. I encourage Friday-Friday bookings to avoid traffic and grocery lines!

Enjoy beautiful views from the front or rear decks. Relax by the pool. This home has everything to make your vacation one to remember!
It is equipped with all of the comforts of home while also providing the serenity needed while on vacation.

This oceanside home is cheerful and tastefully decorated. It boasts a well appointed gourmet kitchen with new stove, microwave and dishwasher. Free WiFi, 8 flat screen TV's, and 6 DVD players.

Great Beach House!

We've been renting in the outer banks for years and this was by far the cleanest, most well-stocked and cared for home we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Communication from the owner was great, she made sure we had a wonderful experience. We couldn't have been happier!

Great 1st Trip to ON

We have rented many houses thru VRBo first one in OBX and this home was by far the best. So clean and everything provided from linens and towels, a well stocked kitchen and the basket of items in every bathroom. The walk to the beach was great. Closest we have ever been to beach. Although pool is small the kids loved it. Karen was great to work with. Would highly recommend this home!!!

OBX Vacation

The house was clean and well equipped. Lots of room for everyone. Exactly as described. Beach was close -not crowded at all. Close to town restaurants stores Our host Karen was great. Answered all questions in a timely manner and even went out of her way to get our Amazon delivery to the doorstep! Would recommend staying at this property

Awesome Family Vacation Home!!

We rented this amazing house for a family vacation with 10 adults and 2 one-year old twins. The owner was extremely accommodating and a true pleasure to work with. The house is impeccably clean and has everything you could possibly need. The location was ideal - just a short walk down the street to the beach and walking distance to shops and restaurants. Additional information from the owner prior to our arrival was great in helping us plan our arrival time and also plan for activities. We will definitely return to Casa Del Mar the next time we vacation in the Outer Banks!

Great stay in the Outer Banks despite the weather

The property was clean and ready at 9 am. A nice perk was that there was a basket in each bathroom with toothbrushes, body wash, cotton swabs, razor, deodorant, and even face wipes. Karen was very responsive to any questions we had. The pool was a perfect size for the grandchildren. Despite Hurricane Debby, good time was had by all. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Great Stay

We had a fantastic stay at Casa Del Mar. Karen was a wonderful host and was very easy to communicate with. The house itself was very clean, well stocked, and had great amenities. It was our first single house vacation as a full family and everyone was extremely happy with the experience. The surrounding area had a ton of options for food and activities and were all only moments away. The only negative was the stairs to the beach were a lot for my parents. It's a narrow passage with a lot of steps up and down over the dune to gain access to the beach. Would definitely stay again. Thanks, Karen!

Best House

I have been coming to the Outer Banks for 42 years and this was the best house so far. It was extremely clean, the owner provided care packages in the bathrooms, condiments, cleaning supplies, towels (beds were made), clear instructions for us. The outdoor shower was the cleanest one I have been in, no spiders or spider webs or dirt. They provided shampoo, etc in that shower too. It was a few minutes walk to the beach and there is a larger community pool very close that is barely used by others. We also enjoyed the turtles in the pond on the way into the development. Both Food Lion and Harris Teeter were close. Biking to either is doable. We all enjoyed staying in such a well appointed place that was clean. For once I did not have to clean up before we stayed in a place. The kitchen is well equipped too. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and caring of your renters. I really appreciated that. This is a place you want to rent.

Outer Banks 2022

We had a wonderful vacation at Casa Del Mar. The house was comfortable and had plenty of room for our group of 14. It was a short walk to the ocean and local shops, which was really convenient. Overall it was a great experience. And Karen was easy to work with, plus she was able to help us with a problem after we returned home.

Beautiful home with great proximity to beach and shops/restaurants in Corolla.

We had a group of 12 people stay at Casa Del Mar and the experience was wonderful! From our first communion with Karen, straight through to the check out process was perfect! She is very knowledgeable about the area and was able to offer suggestions on things to do along with places to eat. She also responds within a few hours, which is very impressive. The house was extremely clean and had everything we needed. There was more than enough space for everyone to have their own space but also ample room for us to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes, pots, pans, and appliances etc. and Karen even has spices, condiments etc which made it easy if we forgot something at the store. It’s located between a Harris Teeter and a Food Lion which made trips to the store easy to manage. The house has a small pool that was perfect for floating and just relaxing and the community pool was perfect when we all wanted to be together at a pool, and literally steps away from the house. The beach was located at the end of the street and walking distance from the house. We were able to easily carry anything we wanted to and from the beach for our beach days. Karen even has beach supplies that you are able to use such as chairs etc. Very appreciative for our time at Casa Del Mar and definitely recommend renting from Karen.

Excellent Beach House

House is very well maintained and the owner was super-responsive. Great location with an easy walk to the beach. Comfortable bedding and towels. The house was perfect for our large family.

Wonderful

The house was great! It had all the amenities our family needed upon arrival with convenient check in time. Karen was amazing! Perfect Vacation Spot

This was our first time renting a house and vacationing in the Outer Banks. It was me, my wife, our two daughters with their husbands and 5 children, and our son and his fiancée. They are still praising me for picking Casa Del Mar. What a great find! It was perfect for us. The house was very clean and well appointed. The short walk down the street to the beach was a plus. The location to shopping is in walking distance. Their is a community pool just around the corner that was never crowded, in fact, there was usually no one there. The owner, Karen Gallegos, couldn't have been more accommodating. I thought we had an issue so I contacted her via text. She got back to me right away and the issue was rectified. The issue was on my end. She made this a very pleasant and successful vacation. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property and look forward to a return visit in the future!!!!!! Thanks Karen!!!!

Lovely Home

In spite of the off and on rain, we had a wonderful week, as this home lent it self well to accommodating our group of 13. This home is exceptionally clean and well attired. The owner is very responsive and is so pleasant to interact with. We hope to rent this home again!!!

Great house great location

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Del Mar. the house was perfect for us. It had everything you could possibly need and Karen was wonderful to work with. She was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. The location was amazing, close to shops, restaurants and the grocery store. You could walk or bike to activities and the beach was very close. I would recommend staying there in a heartbeat.

Best Summer Vacation!

Our family had a wonderful time at Casa del Mar! This home has everything you will need for your time away from home! The house was clean, close to shopping and family fun as well as restaurants. The beach is just down the street. Karen could not have been more available and helpful when needed! We cannot wait to come back!

Great house...Great location

The house and location are tremendous. An easy walk to the beach and local shops. A quick drive to additional stores and amenities (3 minutes). The owner was easily available to questions regarding local restaurants and shops. We had a total of 9 people and the house never felt crowded.

Great Family Time Memories

As a family, we have stayed in several beach homes over the years. This was the best one yet! It is well located, with a short walk to the awesome beach. The home was very clean and bright and the kitchen was well-stocked and organized. It felt like our home for the week! The only slight drawback was the small pool, but there is an excellent community pool nearby. Thanks, Karen, for sharing your home with us. We made some great memories!

PERFECT!!

We just returned from a great vacation with two other families. This home was perfect in every way. The owner is very nice and very clean. The home was beautiful and well appointed. The location was prime....short walk to beach and very close to all shops in town. I have rented through VRBO many times and this was my best experience to date.

We live in Richmond VA. We grew up close to Va Beach and always love being close to the water. We love the Outer Banks community and are involved in the Corolla Wild Horse conservation society.

We have been vacationing here for the last 25 years and have always dreamed of having our little slice of paradise. We were finally able to do it 4 years ago and never looked back. Our whole family is enjoying the beach house and we come here as often as we can. Only 3.5 hours from Richmond.

O que faz essa propriedade ser única?

We fell in love with this house because of the proximity to the beach. We love to surf and play beach volleyball. We are so close to shopping and restaurants as well, but the neighborhood is very quiet. The community has a tennis court and a large pool within walking distance. We also have a pool and at the house. The views of the beach and neighborhood are great and the sunsets are gorgeous. The house has a great playroom with a pool table and a large family room with TV and surround sound system. So many great amenities make this house superb.
