The steps to the ocean are right in front of the house; Located just 75 feet from the Beach, your family will love being close to the ocean. The furnishings and dĆ©cor are so comfortable, youā€™ll feel right at home. Bright, cheerful and very well equipped, this home has a covered deck facing the ocean, where you can relax and enjoy the cool Atlantic breeze.

Ground Level: Parking for 4 cars, Picnic Table and Patio BBQ Grilling area, outside shower and full bath, covered deck, direct access to beach (just across beach road).

Main Level: Open living and dining area w/TV entertainment center, ocean views, Full size Kitchen, Pub table with additional counter bar seating, 3 Bedrooms: Room #1 Queen bed with tv.. Room #2 King Bed with ensuite full bath(tub-shower combo). #3 Double bed.. Full Hallway bathroom (tub-shower combo) , full size washer and dryer in laundry area, sun deck (back of house) and covered front porch with seating and swing bench. ( 2 baths up and one down)

Fantastic location !

Was so nice to be so close to the beach! Nice little place and had all we needed. Was too hot to hang out outside until the sun went down but really enjoyed the porches and tiki bar. Could walk to the Black Pelican and short drive to many other restaurants and shopping. Beach was so close!

Great OBX Beach House

Buddyā€™s Place was a great beach house for our family vacation this year. It is the perfect size for a family of 5 or 6, and provided us with all of the comforts and convenience of home. Being so close to the beach with the access directly across the road was very nice - not having to carry all of our beach gear very far was awesome! Weā€™ll definitely try to stay here again the next time we visit OBX!

Great stay in Outer Banks

The rental was perfect for our family of 4 which included 2 teens. Being across the street from the beach with semi-private stair access to the beach was terrific. We had the unique experience of being able to watch a nest of baby sea turtles hatch/emerge and make their way to the ocean one night, the highlight of our trip.

Cozy Cottage

While this was not the largest cottage we have rented it was definitely the coziest and we truly enjoyed the location, steps from the beach. We enjoyed all of the outside areas which included the front porch, the back deck and the downstairs bar and yard area. The house is decorated in a beach vibe that just feels warm and inviting! Will definitely rent again!

At The Beach

We had a great week at Buddy's Place. It feels like a real beach house. Nice finishing touches on decor. Loved the outdoor space and downstairs bathroom. Only downside was a slightly small kitchen/ dining room. Great beach access.

Great Vacation Spot

House is nicely decorated. Front porch is nice for early morning coffee. Sadly not much of an ocean view due to the dunes being so high but I understand why they have been so built up. Look the tiki bar area for eating and evening fun. Great beach access. Host answers questions quickly. You'll love this house!

Wonderful OBX Getaway

Buddy's Place was the perfect spot for our family of 5 to get away and enjoy our first trip to the OBX. We really enjoyed the property as well as the close proximity to the beach. The outdoor shower and bathroom made it nice to clean up after a day in the sand as well as easy access to a bathroom when needed. The front porch elevation is just enough to be able to enjoy coffee on the porch by looking out over the ocean. This area seem to be a good central location to enjoy both the northern and southern parts of OBX. We would definitely rent with Buddy again!

The perfect spot!!!

Buddyā€™s place is a gem! Right on the beach, a private access so we had plenty of room on the beach. Great location, itā€™s calm traffic wise but youā€™re still close to everything! The house it self is so cute, not tiny and crowded at all!! Beautiful outside bathroom with outdoor shower for when you come back from the beach. The best backyard/bar/grilling area!! We will be coming back to buddyā€™s place!

Wonderful stay

We loved the quaintness and cleanliness of the house! It was perfect for our family and the outdoor shower and space was a huge bonus. The beach access was directly across the street and so convenient for little ones. If we needed anything it was a quick walk back to the house. Be prepared to bring all your essentials; toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, propane, etc. We didnt know we were supposed to and either had none or very little available. But we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the area and neighbors were quiet and friendly. Would stay again!

No linen service, no worries!

First time staying somewhere w/o linen service. Turned out to be a blessing! Love sleeping in. My own sheets! The house was absolutely perfect and the location cannot be beat for the price. Huge value. My wife and I and our 4 year old had one of the best weeks of our lives here. We went to Hawaii last year and this was a better time in a lot of ways. So good! Very special place as a very special time for us. Buddyā€™s Place for life.
