As soon as you step inside, you’ll feel the soothing tranquility that surrounds our vacation home—a beautiful retreat for families and couples who long for true relaxation and precious time together. A place where time passes a little more slowly, allowing you to find your calm again and take a deep breath.
Large windows opening onto the patio let in plenty of light and bring nature right into the house. Whether you’re enjoying your first cup of coffee in the morning on the patio as the sun slowly rises, or sipping a glass of wine in the evening while gazing out into the distance—here, you can simply be yourself. While the children play or you share a laugh together, you can finally savor the moment again.
Soft colors, natural materials, and thoughtful details create an atmosphere of comfort and warmth. The cozy living area invites you to, for example, read a good book, have inspiring conversations, spend an evening playing games, or simply enjoy the silence.
A little highlight:
The garden is completely fenced in. Here, children can play and run around carefree—it’s also a wonderful spot for dogs—while you sit on the patio and enjoy the peace and quiet. Safety and freedom come together here in an ideal way—perfect for little two-legged and four-legged explorers, as well as parents and couples seeking relaxation.
Surrounded by nature and just a few kilometers from the beach, far away from the hustle and bustle, you’ll find the space here to recharge your batteries. Walks in the countryside, the chirping of birds, fresh air—or an evening stroll on the beach, whatever you prefer—simply small moments that make a big difference.

With warm regards—your hosts The 1½-story detached vacation home is situated on a fenced-in lot of approximately 280 square meters.
You’ll find the property on the outskirts of a very quiet vacation home community in 26553 Dornum, in the Nesse district. It can accommodate up to 5 people.
There are 2 parking spaces available right next to the house. The non-smoking house features a south/southwest-facing paved terrace with sweeping views across vast meadows and fields. Here, you can enjoy the sun well into the evening hours. Terrace furniture and sunshades are, of course, provided and can be retrieved from the garden log cabin as needed. You can also store any bicycles you bring with you there during your stay.
The beach at Neßmersiel and the harbor with the ferry to Baltrum are about 4.8 km away and can be easily reached by bike, by car, and, of course, on foot. The guest cards grant access to the beaches from Gretsiel to Hooksiel; there is often a €1 fee for dogs, but there are also many play areas and off-leash areas with dog waste bins. Shopping options are available in the towns of Dornum (4 km away), Hage (8 km away), and Neßmersiel (2 km away), where you’ll also find some great restaurants.
Ferry options: The ferry to the island of Baltrum can be taken or booked from the Neßmersiel harbor. The drive to the Neßmersiel harbor takes about 7 minutes—the so-called Baltrum Line. From Easter through October, sightseeing trips to the seal colonies or mudflat tours are also offered from Neßmersiel. Other ferry options include, for example: From Norden-Norddeich to Norderney/Juist; from Bensersiel to Langeoog; from Carolinensiel to Spiekeroog. Ferry schedules are tide-dependent and change daily. Tickets are available at the shipping company’s office in Neßmersiel, on board, or can be booked online.
