Maximum 6 guest. No exceptions. No pets. No events or parties. Must be 25years old to book.
3 night minimum stay. 1 week required for July bookings.

Quiet home, perfect for nature lovers--wildlife abounds on the property. This is a peaceful getaway, while still having close proximity to golf, the beaches, restaurants, and activities on the Outer Banks. Only a 10 minute drive to Kitty Hawk.

The backyard has a patio, hot tub and fire pit. Bald Eagles, Osprey and Great Blue Herons are seen often. The home is private just for you during your stay. The barn adjacent to the house is not part of the rental and we will be accessing it during your stay.

The home has a large master suite with king size bed, walk-in shower, soaking tub, bidet and double vanity. The second bedroom has a queen bed. There is full bath with tub in the hallway and an additional half bath in the entryway. The third bedroom has two twin beds and a futon. The kitchen is well equipped with commercial appliances and furnished with cooking necessities. There is a back patio and a screened-in porch to enjoy all the natural beauty of this area. Or relax in the hot tub.

There is a security camera over the garage that faces our private barn & captures movement in the driveway.

We require a rental agreement to be signed before you are given access to the home. We will meet you at the property upon arrival to welcome you and sign the agreement.

It is the great place to stay. The house is clean and have everything that you need to have a wonderful time. The house is in a quiet and private place and large area that your family can have fun without disturbing others.The owner was easy to reach out and replied any questions quickly.

Check-in was super easy! The kitchen was unbelievable. Iā€™ve never cooked in a kitchen so nice! The pictures do not do this place justice. Itā€™s 10x nicer than the pics.

Slice of paradise hidden from the crowds.

The pictures canā€™t tell the story of this property. The house is comfortable. Beds, couch, chairs were all great. But the outside was the star of the show. Hot tub overlooking the pond. We pulled the lounge chairs into the yard and stargazed at night. Caught fish everyday. Bass and bluegill. We didnā€™t use the kitchen on this trip but the 6 burner gas stove and convection oven was nice. We will be back with friends and family for this property!

Absolutely beautiful home and property! Perfect for getting away from the stress of life. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Hot tub was a great perk. Perfect for relaxing. Enjoyed s'mores and bonfire one night. Would definitely stay again.

Fabulous Place!

We had an amazing time at Low Country Home! The property is so gorgeous and secluded. The perfect location for privacy, but also very close to all the beaches and site seeing places. Sibbie was great to work with and easy to get in touch with. We also made friends with the sweet ducks on the property :) We would 100% stay again. Everything was very clean and the master bed felt like sleeping on a cloud. It was all just a wonderful experience. Thanks to Sibbie for creating the perfect atmosphere for our family vacation!

What an absolute charming estate!

My wife and I were looking for the perfect place for a much needed getaway from our everyday hectic lives, and luckily we found the Garden House! This home is situated on 32 acres of greatness. It is secluded, private and very well maintained. The owners, Eddie and Sibbie, were very responsive throughout the entire trip, from pre-booking, to check-out day. Every time I reached out, Sibbie was quick to respond. Check-in was a breeze. The home was clean, and everything was as described in the listing. Trust me, the place is even better in person. The home has everything you need for your stay. You are only 10 min away from Kitty Hawk where you can hit Walmart, grocery stores, etc for all your needs. At night, the property is so peaceful! No artificial light or sounds from populated areas. Just darkness and the sounds of nature. The hot tub makes for a great place to watch the sun set and enjoy the night time. We went fishing a few times in the pond behind the home. We caught double digit fish each day (bass, crappie and blue gill) which made for a fun time, as we enjoy fishing quite a bit. There is also a screened in porch, which makes for a great place to enjoy a glass of wine or cold drink while reading or just enjoying the peaceful surroundings. All in all, this was a GREAT place to get away, with great owners that clearly take a lot of pride in this home. We will DEFINITELY be coming back again!

Harbinger Getaway

Everything was clean and the property was everything we hoped for and more. There is so much to do on the property that we didn't even go onto the island except for groceries. Was able to utilize the grill for almost every meal, picked blueberries, enjoyed time at the sound and in the hot tub. Leigh was the person of contact and was polite and helpful, didn't need to make any contact except for checking in which was painless.

We love this house and property! Itā€™s a wonderful place to relax and recharge and has everything you need for a great getaway. The house is spacious and clean and well stocked with paper and cleaning products, toiletries, beach towels, extra blankets, even beach chairs. The property is so well maintained and we loved exploring the pond and path to the sound. Thanks for another great stay!

Highly recommend!!

We highly recommend staying at this home. Eddie was amazing from start to finish. He met us at the house and was super helpful with advice and recommendations. The home is very spacious and clean and the grounds are just amazing. We enjoyed fishing from the pond as well as behind the house where the canoes are stored, having morning coffee on the screen in deck, as well as the hot tub, which was a welcoming evening addition after venturing out for a day of sightseeing and beach time. We would definitely love to return for another visit!

Beautiful property

We had a great week at the property. There was a lot to do there and the owners made it very comfortable. In our time there we saw deer, turtles, rabbits and countless birds. We enjoyed exploring the property, playing games on the lawn and using the hot tub. The owners could not have been nicer. Would definitely go there again.

Tranquil Family Vacation Close to Nature & Close to the Beach

My family of four had a highly enjoyable stay at the Griggs Family Garden home. My two teens were thoroughly relaxed and entertained the whole trip. As my 17 year old stated, "This is like two vacations in one!" You can go to the beach and enjoy all things sand and surf, then go back to the house and watch the birds, ducks, frogs, lizards, turtles, and more. We also took walks around the grounds, the kids had fun catching and "rescuing" frogs, we went kayaking, watched wildlife from the swing on the porch, soaked in the hot tub, stargaze,d and more. The fully equipped kitchen meant we did not have to eat out at all and worry about dining during the pandemic. We grilled in the backyard and cooked in the kitchen. It was quite convenient each day we just packed a small cooler to take to the beach with our lunch, snacks, and drinks inside. We only ate out once stopping for lunch on our road trip to Cape Hatteras. We hope to come back and visit again. In fact, my daughter wrote in the visitor log that she hopes one day to bring her future family back here when she gets older! I think that says it all!

Peaceful, but close to the party!

We really enjoyed the rental home. The house is very spacious and clean, the views of the lake and nearby open water are amazing. You could not hear a single person or see another house from this one. The property was beautiful for taking morning walks. And the owners were very hospitable ready and available for any questions or concerns. One of the best parts is that this house is only 10 minutes from the beach and a bunch of shopping and dining . We definitely plan to stay here again.

Beautiful property and home

Our family of four had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The home is very well maintained and stocked with everything you need for a great vacation. The house is much bigger than we anticipated, as is the property. We enjoyed walking, using the kayaks and bikes that were provided, building a fire, and relaxing in the hot tub. We highly recommend if you're looking to get away and unplug for a few days!

Peaceful and clean getaway

We truly enjoyed staying at this quiet and peaceful home. Thank you, Eddie, for being there to greet us and answer our questions before and during our stay. You were a wonderful host. We really needed a place to getaway from the craziness of the this 2020 year and this home did not disappoint. Our children enjoyed the space to run around and catch frogs. We used the kayaks as a family and relaxed in the hot tub. The beaches were just a 10-minute drive. Our activities were close but the quietness of this home made us feel as though we could get away from the tourist part of the Outer Banks. We definitely would like to come back to stay again!
