The “Panorama Apartment” at Berghaus Hintermatt accommodates 12 people in the sunny high valley of Todtnauberg, offering unique views and a distant vista of the Alps. Hiking and biking trails, cross-country ski trails, and ski lifts are in the immediate vicinity. The spacious living-dining-kitchen area, featuring a long dining table, a kitchen island, an open fireplace, a 55" TV, a flip chart (available upon request), and two balconies, along with an outdoor grill and fire pit, is the perfect setting for gathering with friends and family or hosting meetings with colleagues and business partners.
We love life in the Black Forest mountains, we love to travel, and we enjoy letting our minds wander to faraway places. That’s why we found a house in a fantastic location with a large outdoor area and stunning panoramic views all around, and we’ve lovingly furnished it to be energy-efficient and of the highest quality for people who share this passion with us.
It’s not a luxurious hideaway, but rather has the soul of a very modern mountain cabin with classic wooden walls, creaky stairs, a large living-dining-kitchen area, new bathrooms and balconies, as well as a large outdoor area, a carport, and a bike and ski storage room.
All rooms have underfloor heating. The heating system runs on geothermal energy, and electricity comes from the property’s own solar panel system. We’ve preserved many beautiful old details.
We rent out two vacation apartments in the house: the “Panorama Apartment” for 12 people and the “Garden Apartment” with a sauna for 4–6 people. Both apartments can also be rented together and are connected by an internal staircase. Each apartment has its own entrance and a private garden with outdoor seating areas for barbecuing and relaxing. They offer plenty of space for friendly, active, and sociable people—young and old—who love nature, live sustainably, and enjoy being active outdoors. Of course, there are also board games, Wi-Fi, and large TVs.
The “Panorama Apartment” sleeps 12 and spans 3 floors with 6 bedrooms; the bedroom in the attic, featuring a semi-open loft, is accessible from the bedroom on the upper floor, and all bedrooms can be darkened. Each floor has a bathroom with a toilet and shower, and there is an additional separate toilet on the first floor.
In the large living-dining-kitchen on the first floor of the Panorama Apartment, 16–18 people can dine at the large table, cook together in the spacious kitchen with an induction stove, enjoy the evening by the open fireplace, play games, watch TV, or even hold a meeting.
The kitchen is very well equipped for a large group, including, for example, 2 raclette machines, a DeLonghi fully automatic coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, baking pans, a comprehensive selection of tableware and cookware, wine and champagne glasses, and high-quality appliances.
Upon request, the washing machine and dryer in the utility room can be used.
The carport, parking spaces, the path to the house, the electric charging station, and the storage room for bikes and skis are available for all guests to use.
Depending on the season, the accommodation can be rented for a minimum stay of 3–7 days.
