Welcome to Wesenberg, a picturesque town in the Mecklenburg Lake District, close to Germany’s largest inland lake, the Müritz, and the national park that shares its name.
Your holiday home is halfway between the medieval castle and the city harbor on the Woblitz, just 50 m from the lake, with a terrace offering lake views.
The historic market square with shops is about 500 m away. Two supermarkets are around 2 km away. A fishery with a rustic snack bar and café is a 10-minute walk. A bakery is 500 m away, and there’s a cozy beer garden below the castle. Several restaurants are nearby.
Lake Woblitz is ideal for dinghy sailing—one of the most beautiful areas in the lake district. There’s space on the property for boats, canoes, and SUPs. Rechlin on Lake Müritz is just a 30-minute drive. Lake Weiser is about 2 km away and offers a lifeguarded area and a non-swimmer section.
The apartment features a living room, bedroom, kitchen (stove with ceramic hob, oven, fridge with freezer, dishwasher, microwave), and bathroom.
A covered terrace invites you to relax. Smoking is only allowed outdoors. For longer stays, use of the washing machine can be arranged. The sauna is available for use; please bring your own sauna towels and use the wood-burning stove properly. Sauna use is possible from October to April.
For stays from 01.04. to 31.10., a local tourist tax applies, payable on site.
